My boyfriend, as I've mentioned grew up on the north side of our home town, which is the "rich/classy" side. I grew up on the south side which is way more rural.

He is a very dignified individual, the son of a lawyer and an accountant, straight A's in school, and who strives to have a very clean life with all the comforts of money. He is highly athletic, was captain of his water polo team in high school for three years in a row...very popular and classy. You get my drift.

Then there's me. My family is in the same financial class as his, we just don't live like it. I've done my best to fit into his lifestyle. The parties and the more formal gatherings, the lake houses...you get my drift.

Anyway, I grew up surrounded by horses. I could ride before I could walk, that sort of thing. In my life, we've had a total of 24 horses. I would love nothing more than to share that part of my life with him. I am very passionate about them. My horse is a giant part of my life. I dare to say I've spent more time in the saddle than I have walking.

I want nothing more than to share that with him, but he kind of teases me about my "farm girl" lifestyle and I'm not entirely sure he'll accept or even enjoy riding with me.

I've mentioned possibly riding with him before and he just laughed it off. I know riding is not for everyone and certainly the "farm" lifestyle is not, but I want him to understand that it is a big part of who I am.

So guys, if you identified as a city boy, how willing would you be to go riding with your girlfriend?

We're not talking in a pasture. We're talking in a field/wooded area. We would cover all gaits of a horse from walking to as fast as they go. My horse goes 47 mph to give you an idea...

Would you be willing to try it and not be a poor sport about it you think?

Oh, and just so you know, my horses are well trained so the likelihood of getting hurt is extremely small.
