So I'm pretty sure this guy likes me, I've been told by his mom that he does. (We're both in high school and family friends... My own mother let slip to his mom that I liked her son and she told me, multiple times, she was was pretty sure he liked me.) So this guy has a brother, he's older and is like an older brother to me as well. Our relationship is VERY platonic but he'll do things like throw me other his shoulder, tickle me, touchy things. We also talk a lot and I'll hug him. On the other hand I do not hug his younger brother, the one I like. This is simply because I am not as close with him, and because I like him, I'm nervous.

Apparently his mother and my mom believe that his older brother knows he likes me and teases him about it, or that he simply does not like to see me acting the way I do with his older brother and not him. So they tell me that he may sometimes act off because he is simply annoyed with the relationship I have with his older brother and not him. Regardless he hasn't answered my text to hangout. I've texted him before and we've gotten together, for example, we went to the movies and he paid for everything so I assumed it was a date. However he does text me on snapchat... So my question is would me having a closer relationship with his brother make him less likely to answer my texts or believe I like him? Please I would love your advice I'm confused and frankly hurt that he ignored my text but still snaps me.

So we've known each other for years but recently we went on vacation together (we're both in high school by the way so it was a family thing) and he made me 100% think he liked me then he suddenly started acting weird. This is what happened, for two nights in a row we were sitting side by side on this huge leather couch. Shoulders and arms touching, on a couch that could easily fit 4. So when the rest of his brothers went up to go to bed for both nights he stayed down with me until like 3 in the morning. Then he'd do things like take my phone so I'd need to crawl over him to reach for it, and he'd lean over me when I was typing in my password so he could see it... both evenings we were just both very close. He would also try and scare me by suddenly grabbing my hips or my shoulders and saying "BOO!" When we went swimming he'd pretend to push me in then grab me one time while night swimming he went under me and grabbed my leg to scare me. So he'd tease me like that. He'd also take videos of me on snapchat and send them to me but then he also saved them. When we were watching a scary movie his brother sent a text saying, "I'm watching you." So he said, "fuck off." I guess it could mean anything. Also his mom saw us together and commented to my mom that she thought he had always liked me. Anyway, the next day he just seemed off and didn't talk to me like... at all... when he was even offered the chance to sit next to me he declined and went to bed. His mom and my mom told me it's because they think that his brother knows or thinks he likes me and was bothering him about it, his brother was also was being more physical with me (me and his brother are friends too but it's very platonic so he touchy, he'd grab my shoulders and hug me or swing me around things like that) which they thought perhaps made him annoyed and behave the way he did.

So he went for being all over me, to nothing. What's the deal? I'm worried and confused, please I would love your input and opinion! :/
