There's this guy I met on a dating app 2 months ago. We are very similar. I'm awkward, introverted and I feel awkward talking about e. g. sex related stuff. He really respects that and knows when to stop / change subject. He knows I've never had a boyfriend and I'm scared to meet up with strangers.

Our conversation never stops and I can tell him anything. He is concerned about my health (eating/sleeping) enough and always is willing to help/support me.

He told me he has been rejected a lot in his life. He told me he enjoys talking to me. And I really started to like him.

I've know this guy for about 7 months now - we're members of the same choir. Two weeks ago I went to see a play he was in. After that I went for a night out with him and his theatre-group. I found out that he and I had a lot in common (for example: we're both crazy cat people) and that we share the same sense of humor. We had super fun conversations and I really felt like "why didn't I notice you before?".

The next time we saw eachother was at choir rehersal. During break-time when I walk by him to get a glass of water he suddenly walks up to me and starts talking to me, bringing up the cat subject again. He never talked to me before. He was also joking about the songs we rehersing and the broken chair he was sitting on, he was really trying to make me laugh. When break was over and we sat down on our seats (pretty far away from me). I noticed that he was looking at me. Our eyes met and I smiled back.

The last few days I've been trying to text him. He responds really quickly (0-2 minutes), but none of my texts led to a conversation.. I don't want to risk sending any more, because I don't want to come off as needy or something.

Do you think he was just being nice, because we had such a great time? or was he trying to flirt with me?

I went to a party a few days ago. I was wearing a black crop tank top, high-waisted black jeans, an opened squared red and black shirt, and black combat boots and belt.

I'm into this older guy, with whom I got a chance to talk to right before the party (which he didn't attend). At one point during the conversation, I mentioned how I was going to be a volunteer to help any overly-drunk or sexually-assaulted person and how volunteers would be wearing a purple accessory. His reaction is what doesn't really make sense to me.

He said something along the lines of: "well, the purple thing and the..." He pointed at my crop top, slightly blushed, and shook his head.

I asked for him to continue what he was about to say, to which he said "nah, ponder over it." He was fidgety, obviously nervous and wouldn't tell me what it was that he wanted to say. "I'll tell you over a beer one day," was another of his ways to try to take my mind off the main subject. I kept smiling at him and pressed a little for him to tell me.

Somehow, I won this one and he finally finished the sentence: "you might need one of those volunteers yourself– I don't know." He was slightly embarrassed, I think, or nervous. I just don't understand whether he meant it as a "you look really good" or as a "you look way too trashy and you'll be getting unwanted attention".

This might be a really dumb question. But I’ve been talking to a friend of mine really often (snaps and stuff, albeit mostly about work as we have the same subjects). I know he likes me (and has for a long time, and he knows there is no chance of me liking him back). I’m just curious whether it would be possible for me to actually catch feelings for him simply by talking to him regularly (only ever friendly conversation of course). I don’t think so, but I am curious what you guys have to say. <3
