I've had a crush on my best friend for just over three years now (which is pretty much the whole time I've known her). I've asked her out a few times, but each of those times, she's turned me down. She told me that she doesn't want a relationship yet because her family teases her about boys all the time. They joke about me in particular, ever since her sister saw the birthday card I gave her a couple years back and guessed how I felt about her. So she and I went through a period of being awkward around each other. She didn't want to lead me on and I didn't care that she felt differently as long as I could be around her. Eventually we worked it out, and for the past year, I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm over her and don't like her in 'that way' anymore. I haven't, not in the slightest. She confessed to me a week ago that a little bit after getting to know me, she developed a crush that lasted for a couple months. So she did have feelings for me at one point, but didn't tell me (or anyone else. She's like that). She said she hasn't felt that way about me since then, but recently she's been a bit more... I don't want to say flirty, but that's kind of how she's been acting towards me. I've noticed her running her fingers through her hair more often when I'm talking to her than anyone else. She seems to straighten up a bit when I walk by and is now willing to hug me when I see her in the mornings (she used to only let her female friends give her hugs, so I was pretty surprised when she hugged me out of the blue one day). She's returning my texts within five or ten minutes of me sending them, whereas a few months ago, I'd very rarely get a response within a day, if at all. And now she's happy to sit much closer to me than she ever used to. So these and a few other different behaviours are making me think there might be something going on with her. What do you guys think - should I tell her/ask her to give me a chance (again) or should I wait a bit more?

I know you guys probably get these kinds of questions around here a lot, but I just need to know your opinions. There's this cute girl in my class that i've had a crush on for a couple of months now. I feel like she's giving me signals that she feels the same way as I do, which actually 'triggered' this crush I have on her, but i'm just not sure. She used to talk to me a lot more, she even smiled at me a couple of times, but now she's acting a bit different. I came to the conclusion that she was, in fact, interested in me, but when she realized I don't show much interest she gave up on me. That's the root of my problem, when i'm around her I treat her like I would anyone else, when in reality she is the only thing I think about. However, I still see her looking at me in a special kind of way every now and then. Just a couple of days ago, we were sitting at the opposite sides of the classroom and our eyes met. We stared at each other for about 3 seconds then I looked away. I could see in her eyes that she did not intend to be the first one to look away. I often see her flip her hair then look in my direction. I've told all my best friends, including my previous crush turned friend about her and all of them tell me that I should tell her how I feel about her. The problem is either my insecurity or my lack of courage. Since Valentine's Day is coming in fast, I was thinking maybe I should ask her out, but since we're both only fifteen i'm not sure if she'd want to do that. What do you guys think?
