I think it’s very commercial. Although it’s romantic, we already have a romantic holiday if we’re in a relationship-that’s what anniversaries are. And it puts pressure on guys and makes the girls doubt their attractive to the opposite sex if they don’t receive a gift. In addition, it makes single people feel even lonelier. I think people spend too much money because they have to on valentine’s day. So I don’t practicularly care for valentine’s day. What do you guys and girls think?

I'm planning a "romantic" mall date for my boyfriend and I
(It's our anniversary and we're each planning a date night for it) I have kind of a tight budget.

Would it be too corny to get a paper gift bag (looks like a shopping bag) and write "___'s Shopping Spree" then inside of the bag put some treats (baking him cookies and stuff), his gift, card, and an envelope with homemade coupons inside.

One coupon will be for a 15 minute massage in those massage chairs he likes at the mall and I'm going to make a 15 minute playlist for him to listen to during it

Another coupon for a "candle lit dinner" it would include slices from our favorite pizza joint in the mall, a glass bottle of cream soda (kind of like wine but we don't drink alcohol), a fake rose for him, and those fake electric candles.

Then for dessert a coupon for ice cream cones.

Would this be cute or should I just take him out for pizza and ice cream and give him the gift I got.

Should I add another coupon or two? For what?

I know that many people make photo albums of their year together but as I don't have that many pictures of me and my boyfriend I thought about making a kind of album where I write about big moments from our year together in my point of view. Also I'd like to include some photos, tickets, notes etc. that I've saved.

Would a guy generally like this or is it more of a "girl thing"?

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for a rise and he is falling more and more in love with me and I'm falling apart from him. When we started dating he was in college playing football since then he has dropped or if college and he doesn't want to play football because he doesn't think he's good enough for pro but I just want him to try. He couldn't get a job because of football but he hasn't even tried getting a job done then he has applied to two jobs and that's only because I made him! Everyday I saw him he was playing the Xbox live it's his job. He broke his car so we don't go on dates unless it's a double date and I pay because he doesn't have a job. (As stated) then he told me he has no money to get me a gift for Christmas or or anniversary I haven't really talked to him because but I'm tired of being broke and having to take care of him like a baby. The jobs he has filled out I've made his résumé and etc., but his personality is perfect and truly is super sweet with a nice body to match but im him tired of feeling like a wife and mom. I want to take care of myself and let him get himself together... am I wrong, should I breakup with him?
