I was constantly told I was annoying, weird, childish and immature by work colleagues, this really robbed my confidence. Especially when I'd talk and I'd get eye rolls or blatantly be ignored. I actually ended up being isolated at work. I use to hide at lunch. I don't think I talked about anything different to others, I actually stopped presenting new topics for fear of rejection and tried to stick to poplar subjects minus gossip. To start this job and my relationship were the only environments I was treated like this until I got so down it creeped more into my personal life affecting my friendships.
Now when I got to work I don't talk. I wait for others to talk to me, and try to remain as invisible as possible. I actually temp so that I don't have to share too much of myself.
