I was talking with this girl that I reconnected with after college, for about a year. Due to a general lack of communication, and what I can only assume is some mental illness issue (yes, she has confirmed to me that she suffers from at least 2 mental illnesses), this girl and I shared a hot-cold something-more-than-a-friendship, that she has recently cut-off when I called her out on the general disregard that she had shown me. THIS WHOLE SITUATION JUST SEEMED SO OUT OF CHARACTER FROM THE WOMAN I REMEMBER!

Her ex boyfriend, while not in the picture, had stayed in touch with her for a while after their break up. They tried to do the whole "just friends" thing, and I assume that she was basically treating him as the significant man in her life. Apparently my former friend was under the impression that they might reconnect as a couple, but then never did, and he has since moved on and is dating someone new.

In hindsight, she really treated me like an after thought. I sort of justified her behavior by telling myself that she wasn't spending as much time connecting with me because of the greater emotional requirement than talking to her platonic friends, but now that she has publicly humiliated me by telling my friends to get me to leave her along and made it clear that we were never in any kind of a relationship (despite what I believed to be some pretty firm flirting); I am curious to know if any of this was real, or if she straight up played me, or maybe even if her mental illness is causing some wacky nonsense. We are long distance, and she's saying that my messages were scaring her.

You have to understand that this was really sudden and got really ugly.

I want to reach out to her ex, to ask if this kind of behavior is/was typical from her, or if I'm an isolated incident, but I don't know if that would be appropriate. What do y'all think?

I am in college and have a class with a girl my age. She laughs at stuff I say, smiles a lot at me and to stuff I say. She said hi when she saw me ask what's up. We had to do peer reviews and she came to my table sat next to me at my table. She sat between me and another woman Im friends with, talked to her she said something, smiled at me and looked deep into my eyes and didn't stop smiling and it felt awkward, if I didn't break the eye contact she probably would've continued. When i talked to a guy I met in class about age she joined in and asked me my age saying I look 3 years older at least. One day I sat down waiting for class and sat with another woman and she came in for class walked over and started waiting very close to me, hovering over standing in my personal space, she walked right in front of me and started getting close to me and I could smell her but she had her back to me. This was the closest she's been to me. There was a whole room not a lot of other people it's empty. When I talked about another girl flirting with me and asking for advice from a woman I talk to in college to not lead her on. She joined the conversation said that the other girl will continue pushing boundaries and persisting if I don't say I'm not interested and ignore hrr. She started this stuff after I asked for advice, . I told her someone said my hair looks like the clown from it and she said that's not nice. I'm afraid she knows I'm too nice I have seen her hangout with other people and guys but she doesn't get to smiley with them. I am the only guy she really has done it too

I’ve known this woman for years. She’s a couple years older than me. When she was a school girl and we were younger. She did stuff to get my attention and flirted with me on a regular basis. I met her because she laughed loudly at my joke and at great length then asked me to repeat it the. After I talked to her teased me. She butted in my conversations to try to talk to me ask me to repeat stuff or laugh at unfunny stuff I said. Found any excuse to talk to me hovered around me to try to talk to me approaching me with her friend. She’d giggle and say my name for no reason and when I looked at her. When she wore something showing her boobs her friend came and got me for a selfie and blushed. Said my name a lot in a warm tone if I said something bad. Tease me after I talk to her. Stare at me every opportunity when I’m not looking. I see her around. As I got older I went to her work and she sat in a place that had a clear view of me and where I could see her then stared at me. I went to a store and she was in a car laughing loudly and when I looked at her turned her head and made a big smile. Dipped her head and raised her eyebrows then widened her eyes. held eye contact and didn’t stop and when I broke it continued staring and watched me leave. I ignored her and after that she had an attitude seeing me. I worked with her and I caught her secretly staring at strange places. I go to the same college as her. saw me in a classroom and went in then stared at me secretly. shows up 30 mins early for that class after seeing me and walks by looks at me walks by
