Devilish pleasure tbh and I would be considered cocky for saying it, but I can't help feel glad when girls consider very average to below guys attractive since i am that range myself because that to some extent balances the insanely high standards that exist in today's date. Though the truly hot people are so hot it still doesn't quite compensate overall. I feel good when girls say guys like johnny depp, colin farrel, avan jogia, adam levine, ryan gosling etc are hot but then i remember there are 10/10's like pitt, cruise, hrithik roshan, nick bateman, joe manganiello etc and feel like an incel subhuman again lmfao. I am sure girls feel that way too when barely average women are considered model tier like hadid, emma watson etc.

so I saw a girl on a dating site, and it said to message her on facebook and so I did with the initial "Hey how are you" got no response. waited a day and then added her on facebook messenger and she accepted a few days after. Now at this point it doesn't show she looked at my message so I'm thinking that maybe I need to add her on facebook so she can see it or something. then about a week later or so I decided to message her again because what did I have to lose from a second message. To my surprise she messaged me back says sorry for the late response and then said she'll message me back after work and it's a pleasure to meet me. I replied with "its a pleasure to meet you too and yea sounds good" and now shows she's seen the latest message. I haven't heard anything since and it's been about a week. I also cancled the main facebook friend request because i thought i made me look too desperate although it may be too late to prevent that. not really sure what do at this point. figured she would have said something by now if she wanted to talk, then again she could be busy a lot of the time. Should I just leave it alone or do I attempt to message her again. Where's the line/difference between? persistent vs desperate?
