See title. Related to previous question about girlfriend acting attention-seeking (like a "single" thristy teenager) and posting on Snapchat, Instagram/My story and Facebook, generating a lot of male attention in private messages. I claim it's attention-seeking and annoying, but my girlfriend is acting oblivious and think I'm overreacting. She's an Instagrammer with a bit of following, and I don't mind her being a bit narcissistic and posting pictures (including sexy ones), but it bugs me when she's doing this attention-seeking (?) stuff - especially in private channels like Snapchat, like she's just fishing compliments and flirts. I mean, she has a boyfriend.

What's your judgement?

So my girlfriend is a bit younger than me (21 years old) and has always been interested in the way she looks, and using her looks to gain social media following. She has 10k+ followers on Instagram, and regularly gets compliments, private messages and friend requests from thirsty guys in her home town.

My issue is not that she's using social media to post pretty pictures (modelling, stylish, sexy etc) but it feels like a warning-sign that she's still, while in a long-term relationship with me, posting the kind of attention-seeking selfies (pouting lips, only selfie, posing body-pictures etc.) on Snapchat/Instagram/Facebook (and stories - which are seen by all those hungry guys) and defending her social media usage from all criticism and jealousy. I just feel like she's fishing for attention and it's bothering me that she doesn't listen to my concerns.

MY QUESTION: Is this a behaviour that's so normal for girls these days that I should just write it off as an age-related behaviour, or do I have any justification in feeling like it's not very girlfriend-like behaviour and a legit red flag?

Would love to hear if someone "is" this girl/what you think, or if someone has found a nice way to overcome the feeling of weirdness together with their partner. Advice much appreciated!

So I did a little experiment the past couple months. Hardly any dedication, but I'm a well known member on here and not very liked by a lot of people. I made several questions under the anonymous feature posting pictures of myself and my body that no one has ever seen on this website under my account. Some of them had filters and others did not.

These pictures that I posted anonymously.. I was told that I was hot, sexy, and above average in a lot of ways. I even had girls telling me to message them on gag/social media. Of course I got some haters but "coincidentally", the haters who decided to hate without going anon.. were unattractive. Some people said my pics weren't even me. Some people did recognize me as well.

When I post pictures without going anon, everyone will sit there and tell me I'm ugly or unattractive in some way, shape, or form. When I go anon.. I'm suddenly very attractive. I sort of just wanted to prove my theory to myself and that's why I did it.

This is a community based forum in which some people are very liked and others are not so liked. Their personality is played into account on that rating. I'm not saying that people deliberately do this every time either. It can very well happen subconsciously. This person might have a lot of personal values conflicting with yours which makes you feel resentment for this person and therefore not being able to rate their physical appearance from a logical perspective.

I think people rate high when they think they have a shot with with that person. I mean this is the only website in which I see legitimately below average people being rated as 7/10s while legitimate 7/10s are seen as "fake" looking. The word "fake" implies unobtainable. This is direct evidence that people rate lower when they know they they wouldn't have a shot with this person in real life.

I also just think that this website is just beyond politically correct sometimes trying to spare everyone's feelings. It just creates delusion.
