I am a fairly hairy guy, but I am clean shaven on my face and have a shaved head. I also shave my pubes and armpits. I shaved my chest every other day religiously for 17 years, but I’m now at the point in my mid 30’s that I don’t want to have to worry about shaving my chest anymore.

Appearance only. They are in good shape and health and take care of themselves. One has a bare chest, one has a light amount of hair on his chest and one has a very hairy chest.

Here's something I was just interested in getting opinions on.

I was never really fond of my body hair. I usually keep my chest and armpits clipped. Not quite shaved, because that gets itchy, but clippers on the lowest setting to remove the hair. Especially in the armpits.

When I was younger, I would shave my legs on occasion, and people like my parents would express some concern. "You know that's more of a girl thing, right?" Though mostly in my mind, it didn't seem right to prefer something in women that I don't do myself. Which is interesting because I don't really mind women who have a bit of hair on their legs. I just think it looks better shaved.

Today, I shaved my forearms. Not just with clippers but with a razor. I just wanted to give it a try, and I kinda like how it came out, myself.

But honestly, I don't hold strong opinions on it. If I'm dating a girl who likes men with some extra hair, I don't mind growing it out. I like the idea of looking good for my SO.

The main exception is probably the face. I keep what is probably 2 weeks of facial hair. Mostly because I really like the definition it adds to my face, and how I can kind of sculpt my facial structure by how I trim it.

But yeah, I just thought it would be interesting to see what women prefer. Or men for that matter. I imagine it differs by political alignment and urban vs rural.

How much chest hair maintenance do you do? Shave it down regularly? Keep it trimmed and go with a clipped look? Keep it natural and show off what you have at your collar?
Girls, what look are you into?

I always thought women and girls have naturally bare hairless smooth skin on their stomach and chest. I knew women and girls have some visible lower leg hair and sometimes thigh hair too and most women do shave or wax and even laser that.
But do women even have some visible belly hair / happy trail and women even shave /wax their belly area before wearing revealing clothes in public?

In the movies/media/TV etc all the men are shown absolutely smooth Chested and now a days even shown with shaved legs.
100 percent men shown are absolutely smooth on the torso.
Do you think if media showed normal average hairy chest/abdomen too then women especially young ones would be used to it and would then like it or maybe accept it and see it as normal for men?

So I was wondering if you girls actually like and prefer a guy to have lot of natural hairy legs , thighs and arms as compared to a man's nicely shaved bare ones or is it that you all accept it since it's not so bad as a hairy chest is but would love it if men shaved it bare smooth?
