Many years ago, i had a beautiful, loving, scaring and genuine girlfriend.
i can honestly say there is or was no one like her, girls like her are very rare.

Anyway, about 2 years into our relationship. i became emotionally unstable.
Try as i might i couldnt change. i hurt her, terribly. i never meant to, but i did.
i cheated on her with her own sister, i hit her, swar at her.

Eventually, she left (not that i blame her, i always wished her well). i never made contact with her for 7 years. Yesterday, i found out that she died from a very aggressive form of cancer, aged just 28 years old. She married her long term boyfriend before she died, she was with him for 7 years also.

I was and still am in shock. I still remember our first date, how she smelled so incredible, what she wore, and even what we talked about. that was 12 years ago.

I want to visit her grave, and tell her how sorry i am. She made me a better person by leaving, and she protected herself, i dont doubt that. I think if i could ask Emma now if i could visit her grave, she would say no, but i also think she would say "But if it would make you feel better"

I am now happily married to another woman, who reminds me of Emma in every way. Smart as hell, funny, unassuming, loving and devoted... im just a different man. Emma changed my life, and i will always be grateful.

Girl: I'm sorry I don't know who you're dating how YOUR ASS drove her to cheat but I don't appreciate you referring to another female as any of those words. Have some respect. And honeslty if that's the way you talk about a woman NO MATTER WHAT she did to you - i don't care if she hit you - As a woman, I find that shit disrespectful and offensive... you probably brought this on yourself.

Girl: (starts getting aggressive and violent) NO, I DON'T CARE. THAT'S A FEMALE AND CHEATER OR NOT YOU DON'T LIKE THAT I'M LETTING YOU KNOW THAT I DONT APPRECIATE THAT SHIT. ARE YOU A REAL MAN?

Don’t confuse good boy with doormat or the stereotypical “nice guy”.

I don’t drink or smoke. I won’t call a girl “my bitch” and I’m not “hard”. I’m a hardworking man, finishing up school to become a news reporter. Working on buying my first home, published two books, workout 4-6 times a week and I would consider myself pretty successful for my age. I try to travel to different countries yearly, I’m very adventurous and ambitious. I’m not OVERLy macho. I’m aggressive and loud when I need to be like in bed or when I’m standing up for myself. I know how to have fun I just don’t drink, smoke or do things that can end me up in prison. Anything else is fair game like parties, trips, etc.

I’m in my mid-20s. My age on here isn’t accurate. It’s like that because my birth year on Facebook is off by 100+ years because I don’t tell people my age. Leaves a little mystery.

I’m pretty level headed and treat everyone with respect until they’ve lost it. But I don’t take anyone’s bs and don’t let people walk over me, love interests included. I’ve never had problems getting dates but I usually end up with “goodie goodies.” Girls who are “too nice” don’t know how to let their hair down and have fun. I’ve been wanting to change it up.

Lately I’ve found myself drawn to girls with a little sass and edge. Not anyone who’d get me in trouble but those girls who know they’ve got it going on, know how to have fun but still have their shit together. I’m wondering if girls like that would go for guys like me, like opposites attracting. Is it worth the trouble to find out?
