Boyfriend has been saying I am being controlling anytime I believe I am looking out for the best interest of us. Example... he has been playing video games more and more lately and he doesn't do much during the day when I am at work (he has an income, but what he does only takes a couple hours a week). So when I get home he will be playing and after a period of time it can range from 30 min to 2 hrs I will say something about how it is rude he doesn't do that during the day when I am not there. Today I left at 7am and 11:30pm. So 17 hours I was gone. On the way home I called him because he hadn't responded to me and he said he had been playing games and missed my text. He said he was getting off of the phone so he could play and be done when I got home. I get home and 20 min pass and he is still playing. I ask him if he needs to shower and he says ya I am going to play a couple more games first. I was like ok well that's pretty rude considering I have been gone all day and wanted to spend some time with you. He then yelled that I am being controlling and he isn't going to let me do that kind of stuff to him... I don't think I am being controlling. I feel like he just wants to do what he wants to do and I'm supposed to be ok with it.
