In less than 2 weeks I go back to the salon to get my hair done. Below is a picture of what I currently look like. I have extensions & I’m wanting to take them out and choose the red or blonde color below. The blonde hair is actually my hair when I had it colored that color & I’m not sure if I want to go back to being blonde or choose the ginger red color. My hair is naturally red. Which color should I choose? I created a post earlier, but I never attached a picture of my face so I figured that’d be more helpful in the decision making process.

Not sure whether to stay w red hair or dye blonde (naturally dark blonde)

I have long (just below mid-back lenth), thick, dark brown hair. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it bores me. I've pretty much never dyed it because the darkness makes it difficult. I tried doing a little copper balayage last year for a change and it literally did not show up. I sometimes feel like a change - but I don't want to lose length as its taken me some years to get it this long and I think it suits me better than short. I am not wanting to go blonde as it will just damage my hair and to be honest it is not going to suit me (black eyebrows and pale skin). I've had some thoughts on attempting ginger/redhead for my hair, but I am not sure. It is the only colour I know for certain will suit my features (very pale skin and green eyes). But, I would not want it to look red -red, but rather more natural so I don't know how achievable that is. Or should I just accept that beautiful brunette is just me?
