A female friend of mine admitted to me last year that she's had a huge crush on me for years and had thought about us being together. That she had been thinking about me everyday and that I was constantly in her dreams. But we were both in long term relationships at the time (6+ years) so nothing materialized after that conversation and we just stayed friends. It's now about a year later and we are both single now. She has been confiding in me about her recent breakup while mine was about 6 months ago. There's definitely some flirting when we hang out but neither of us has really brought up the topic of what we discussed last year. My question is mainly for the ladies out there, would her feelings for me have gone away over the last year or would those feelings have stuck? I realize she's just coming out of a LTR so she's going to need time to heal, but I'm just wondering if she would have gotten over me since she tried to make her relationship work. Would a huge crush go away, or would she naturally be thinking about a relationship with me once she's ready?
