Search Results: which school do i choose

I'm almost done with my Pre-U courses and will have around 10 months of nothing-to-do. The traditional way is students find jobs to prep them for University. I have a plan. The plan is to go overseas to Australia to work for a friend. The pay is madly good. The experience and independence that I'll get just makes the deal even sweeter. But here is the thing, my folks aren't gonna be happy with this decision. They both are airline crew and have their share of experiences with the outside world. And they're kinda old school. I have been trying to be independent since young as they have to be flying around to get food on the table. Plus I'm kinda a rebel. So I've learned to do things on my own without asking for they're help. Now I need them to help fund an airplane ticket for me. And by doing so I'm revealing my plans to them and risk getting the plans ruined. I know for a fact that they'll disagree and thus ignite a feud. The money i earn in a month will be more than enough to repay them and the total income i get in 10 months allows me to get through the first few months of Uni life without worries.
What do I do? Losing this chance is something I'll regret over the course of my life. I don't want to live under someones roof, thinking that I'll never be able to do anything on my own. I want a challenge. I want to be knocked down and be able to rise up on my own. This is the perfect chance for it. I can change for the better.
Please, i need your help, i need your advice. What should I do?

PS: Those are the location where I'll be able to work in Australia. I can't choose which is the better place.
