We've been dating for over almost 3 years. A couple of days ago he told me that he had cheated on me last summer with a friend of his. He was sleeping with her for 2 weeks and his excuse was that he thought he was losing me and went to find affection elsewhere. We had a pretty good relationship, but I suffer from depression and sometimes I shut down and am not able to express my feelings to him and he always take it hard and feels like he's less of a man because he can't make me happy. He claims to feel like he was losing me and then he realized how much he loved me and broke things off with her. I am furious, but at the same time I am very much in love with him. I know I have my own issues that I'm working on, but I never thought he would cheat on me. He was always worried about me cheating because I go to school with my ex and we ended on good terms over 8 years ago and remained we're friends. Which is why this is so infuriating. I trusted him wholeheartedly and now I feel like if we were to stay together, then I would become one of those paranoid girlfriends who checks her boyfriends phone whenever he goes to the bathroom. He's had female friends and I was never worried about them, now I don't feel comfortable with having any female friends. Also the girl he cheated on me with was the best friend of his best friend and I don't even feel comfortable with him being friends with the guy anymore. I'm so confused I love him and at the same time want to pound his face in. Any advice would be very appreciated..

How many of you who are round your parents, or close family members say I love you and and hug each other when you meet. This can apply for a girlfriend or boyfriend.

In my family we don't do that. I get more affection from my southern, middle Eastern friends, and church family.

Don't take this question the wrong way. My family loves me, I just wish there was more I love you and hugs.
