I'm starting to wonder if it's true!
I read in an article about why men nowadays don't approach women and it stated amoung other reasons, that a lady wearing sunglasses looks stuck up and closed off.
And because of this most guys wouldn't go up and try to talk to her since he deems her unapproachable aka unfriendly or not open to having a conversation with a stranger.

I usually wear polarized glasses like the girl in the second pic since they protect my eyes better.
I use to wear regular sunglasses like the girl in the first pic and sure they're more stylish but they don't provide as much UV protection.

I don't get it. I'm trying analyze my behavior and determine what is wrong with me.

I'm generally pretty negative internally and attempt to be positive with others because it would be unfair to be treated that way. I don't understand why people don't like me. Ever since I was a child, people have always been pretty rude to me. The times when I was younger, as in grade school up to fifth grade I don't take too personally.

However, from the treatment I've received from my family members and what I considered friends/strangers/acquaintances is another story up to this point at 23.

I either hear I'm being spoken negatively about or women, rarely guys are just very mean to me. I consider it bullying.

I'm shy and don't get approached often by guys. People say that before they knew me they thought I was stuck up or a bitch. Okay? Big deal?

I find most people to be unapproachable at times and could care less if they want to be my friend or not. I just want some respect or consideration because I'm a person and have feelings too.

I have taken medication and attempted to attend cognitive behavioral therapy sessions. Regardless of my attempts from a psychological standpoint, I'm always unhappy and negative. And this scenario with being hated by people brings me down.

Suppose there's a woman who weighs 170 lbs and she loses 50 lbs and becomes 120 lbs.

She's the same person. She has the same ideas, the same attitude, the same thoughts and feelings. She might be fun or a little boring. She might be smart or a little silly. She may be caring or selfish at times. But nothing has changed except that she lost 50 lbs.

Is it guaranteed that she's going to get approached more by strangers (either in person or online) just because she's thinner?

Assume someone who's an average nice person, but not particularly outstanding in any other way. Her online dating profile has the same text before and after.
