So a couple of months ago, there was this one girl who i really had a crush on, she was honestly one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen, and whenever we talked she was so nice, sweet, funny and sensitive (you know i only saw her good side aha), but I've seen her around and i had danced with her at the school bar and stuff, but i really wasn't her "friend" or anything. Time passed on and i couldnt build up the courage to talk to her, just because i thought she would too perfect to be with someone like me, until one day i did build up the courage to go and sit next to her and talk to her. I obviously didn't sit there awkwardly, i began to take out my books to "study" while she was doing some of her work. She actually started conversation with me, shared a couple of laughs and "connected". then i totally noticed i forgot my pencil in my dorm, so i didn't have anything to write with, so i asked her for a pencil and she gave me one. i had to go so i took her pencil, and i told myself that until i used all of that one pencil i would never stop trying to be with her. time went on and our "connection" died off (my fault since i didn't act on it quick enough, so i guess she got bored). its been like 4 months now, and i still have the pencil, its really short and has a bunch of bite marks. I just can't get her off my mind and we haven't talked in a while. I dont let anyone use it and it means a lot to me, i dont know why it just does. Maybe one day ill tell her about it as a joke, but for now i kind of take it seriously. I don't know do you guys think its pathetic

Ok so there is this girl that i have been texting for a few weeks now, and i just confessed to her tonight, this is how the conversation went

Me: hey
Her: Heyy
Me: Wyd
Her: language arts project
Me: cool, what's the project about
Her: Lord of the flies (i think thats a book idk)
Me: oh ok, so how is chemistry going
Her: A lot better i'm passing now
Me: That's good, listen there is something that i've been wanting to tell you
Her: what is it?
Me: well to be honest i kinda have a little crush on you... but if you don't feel the same i hope we can stay friends
Her: Aww. why didn'tt you tell me earlier? I think you're great, and i would love to talk to you
Me: i didn't tell you because you had your mind on chemistry that day so i waited for a better time
Her: thats so sweet of you

am i in the friend-zone?

Also one time she called me "boo" and used a couple of emojis.. I don't know we have only been texting for a few weeks

We haven't even met in person yet but i'm positive that i like her. I just don't think she is interested I don't know

In other words (due to bad past relationships with ex boyfriends) when a woman first meets a man, do you think most of the time she'll think he's not her type at first by saying to herself she would never kiss him, after all she doesn't find him physically attractive, until after she gets to know him better like his personality then she change her mind about him, and naturally he had the paitence of a saint by waiting for her to come around, knowing he had an instant crush upon meeting her.

How often do you hear the opposite of this story, which is a guy not liking a woman more than just a friend at first, until he starts to come around due to her personality, and she had the paitence of a saint, cause when she first met him, she like him more than a friend? After all he lets his guard up sometimes due to his bad past relationships he had with women.

She does not have a large amount of friends (opposite of me), but she has very very close friends (again opposite of me). The main reason is that I'm one of those... "nice guys" who most people like... but I know this so I keep tons of secrets to myself so that people don't take advantage of me. She is fairly shy, which is why I try to talk to her in private.

Our conversations usually go like this. by the way I always have to initiate. I say 'hey/hi' she does one of two things. She stops and says hi back or she looks at me briefly and keeps walking. If I'm lucky I have 4 minutes to talk to her before people come around and she leaves. If we keep talking, she barely looks at me, but not in a rude way, more of a shy way. She talks fairly quitely. She's blushed twice out of like 100 times of attempts to talk to her... I just don't know if she likes me or not...

However her best friend has teased me and her before a few times when we did talk and she looked at her best friend like wtf u doing. by the way her best friend and the girl i like are completely opposite. her best friend is the most open book u will ever see.
