Girl's Behavior

This girl acting really strange recently. Why?

So there is a girl who is just a friend of mine in our friend group who us personally we've known each other since like elementary school. We both go in the same church and have always went to the same school. She's always been a cool friend with me, as she always says hi and stuff. So then I don't know how long but she started snapping me a little on snap chat. She doesn't always text me first and stuff (still does sometimes), but she has started to the past month. Then this week I was just bored one day and I decided to text her. I said hey, then she said in caps HEY BABE, which came out of nowhere. I thought it was a little weird but I just texted back and as we talked we ended up just texting in caps and she kept calling me babe playfully like YEAH BABE and THAT'S BAD BABE and stuff in this conversation. Then I said THANKS for one thing and she said YAH, ANYTHING FOR MY BOYFRIEND. I went WHAT?, then she said YOUR MY BOYFRIEND. Then she said IM JK, and then suddenly said But tbh I like -------.(not gonna say the name), so she just said she likes a guy who's our friend in our group. Then she was all Don't tell and stuff, so I said ok. Then this week she snaps me more again and stuff, and she started talking to me a little more after that. Then she playfully touched me a few times this week and even drew on my book in class. She also looks at me once when I sit down at lunch, where I sit at the table in front of hers. So I don't know, this is just strange. I can kinda see some signs of her liking the other guy. So anyway why could she start to behave like this all of a sudden? You can give completely honest opinions cause I really don't have that much of a crush on her. I maybkinda like her but maybe now as a good friend, so you can say what you want to say.
