my boyfriend and I never argue because we are very alike. its one of things I love about him, we both hate conflict. My best friend on the other hand always fights with her boyfriend and says it makes a relationship stronger... wtf that is like the dumbest logic I ever heard. what's your opinion. I know my boyfriend and I have a strong relationship regardless of the fact we don't fight, I was just curious what others thought:)

I have been friends with this guy for the past year. I knew he had this thing for another girl, his first crush, but she had a boyfriend and wasn’t interested in him. I acted as the best friend to this guy for a while and it eventually grew into more. About a month and a half ago we decided to give it a go and we dated for about 2 weeks. I gave him his first kiss and was the closest thing he had ever had to a girlfriend. One day, about a week into dating, he randomly told me that he thought we should just be friends because it the relationship still felt that way. I didn’t argue because I had been keeping it slow to not scare him (being his first kiss/ romance). I still liked him but I thought that maybe he just wasn’t ready. Since then we have stayed close. It was awkward for a while but I thought the just friends thing was going to work out. About a week ago we were studying with a group of friends at about 2 am. We were having fun getting into tickle fights and sort of keeping to each other, which I didn’t know how to interpret, but I decided to ignore it. Maybe we were just overcoming the weird after stage. We were all tired and we both said we were going to leave around the same time. I left before he did because he wanted to watch something on YouTube with one of the other guys there. I didn’t think anything had changed until he showed up at my door about 3 minutes later saying he wanted to throw something away instead of carrying it back to his room. He lives a floor below me (on the same floor as the dumpster) so I found this strange. I started to take his trash but he came in to my room. We talked for a few minutes and he stood close to me the entire time. We didn’t talk about anything important and he only stayed for about 5 minutes. It was kind of awkward. Before he left he gave me this really long hug like he had like we were dating, then left. It was almost like he came by just so he could say good night. I pushed that aside until last night when we were working on a social event together. We were both in our element and, to be honest, I watched him a lot. He is a tall nerdy sort but I find him adorable. I decided that maybe I'm not entirely over him. Little things like when he would stand close to me or lean over me with one arm on each side to change the music drove me crazy. Then the girl he liked first walked in. It was like something switched in me. I was jealous. She has a boyfriend and doesn’t like him but I didn’t like her being there. I stepped outside with one of my friends and told her what was going on. She said that she didn’t know what was going on but he watched me and that he obviously cared what I thought. I can't decide what is going on in his head. I know he cares about me. Whenever he sees me he will sit with me for long periods of time and makes it a point to be where I am. If we are just friends it is strange. I think I may be in danger of liking him even more. Where is this going? Does he still like me? I have this feeling like he still does but I could be wrong. I don’t want to get my heart broken but I like him too much to just give up on him without knowing.
