Search Results: forgive cheating girlfriend

If your girlfriend/boyfriend cheated on you and you absolutely know they did, would you forgive them? I personally would not because cheating is one of the WORST things you can do, and people who cheat are horrible people who betray the trust of another person. I'm mostly curious about the men vs. women on this issue. Please explain your answer too.

I have a very close friend who back in high school, everyone would tell you that we should've been together but it just never happened. Now since we have gotten older I think she's starting to feel that a lot more.

The reason I say that is because she wants me around all the time. She has seriously ask me to move in with her, saying it would help her out. Other times I could have just seen her the night before and I'll get a text in the morning reading "i miss you". Now our friends have started noticing things aren't right as well see as whenever she gets drunk or just a bit tipsy? She tries just about everything to stay close to me and there have been time where she has tried to kiss me.

And why it bothers me is because she's engaged, possibly getting married very soon, and has a child with this guy. Not to mention the fact that she will praise just about everything I talk about and will try her best to block out her fiancee in the conversations. I mean the dude is super call, always a great host. Yeah, did I mention they live together and yeah you read the paragraph above correctly. She really does think it would be better if I moved in with them.

I mean I try to be a good friend cause I know she's a stay at home mom now and doesn't get out much. Plus a lot of her girlfriends don't come around much anymore. So she really only has me and who ever I can get to come over with me at the time. So on my days off I'll go over and drive her to this place or that place or just go driving around with the little one hanging out in the backseat.

I try to help her with her problems or come up with away that she can approach her fiancee, and talk about things without him getting pissed off. If your wondering yeah he's one of those types that gets pissed off because your pissed off. For example you can get pissed about something he did so he comes up with things the he was pissed at you about but didn't mention. Kind of a way to get you to back down and automatically forgive him.

But

Like clockwork during each one of these talks somehow and some way. She throws it out there about how we should be together.

I don't want to hurt her or come off as if I'm leaving her like everyone else has but at the same time how can I get her to stop with this stuff?

I mean it would be totally different if she was a single mom. Then I'd be totally all over her, but I feel like she just wants to either cheat or she's testing me out to see if she were to leave him would I be with her.

I had been very unfaithful to my girlfriend and she checked my phone messages and asked me if I cheated and I had to admit it so I said yes she said "was she prettier than me, honestly" I responeded truth fully and accidently said maybe two of them were and she responded with a big WTF there was more than one and I had cheated with at least 6 different girls.

Either way I got slapped in the face and when I tried grabbing her arm while she was walking away she punched me in the balls.

Either way I was forgiven and we are back together anything ever happen to you guys or girls?
