I have only met this guys twice. Once we never spoken, the second time we said hi. He then added me on facebook and started talking to be. Conversation started out as normal, asking what we do, what we enjoy. He then started making comments such as "oh could you teach me how to do that" . He also said that we should all get together sometime and that he will ask our mutaul friend if we can have a party at his place,and then subtley asked me for my cell number and text me "hey its me x " . Then today he initiated a conversation on facebook and made comments such as "maybe you could make me one some day" referring to what I was going to make for breakfast. we then later went on to say goodbye where he said "bye xx"

So do you think he is interested in me or is he just being friendly ? Thanks

Here's the scoop.

I was dating this guy who I knew was a douche (Rin). Our relationship was so unhealthy that the only time we 'connected' was during our sexual encounters. (though we never had sex). When a great guy comes along, I fall for him (Emmett). He became my best friend in every way possible. Love at first site, on both our parts. But I 'thought' I loved Rin. Basically, the Emmett and I stopped talking all together because I was with Rin and he knew I was making a mistake. At one point Rin and I broke up and Emmett told me if I got back together with him, he was done. For good. I got back with Rin, and Emmett and I haven't talked in a week. Last night I realized that he was right and I broke it off with my boyfriend immediately. I was not happy with him what so ever and I knew I deserved more. I called Emmett and asked to speak with him this morning. At first he was very reluctant, but then agreed. We met up this morning and ended up not talking. While sitting at breakfast with friends, he texted me saying that he and I will never be together. That I need to focus on myself and get better. Become happy with who I am and not rely on others. I didn't get a chance to talk to him about what's on my mind. And I just found out he's talking to a female that HATES me and I guess they're dating.

What should I do? All I want to tell him is Thank you for everything and that I'm sorry.. He deserved so much more than what I gave him, and I am sorry for that. But I want to thank him because without him I wouldn't have realized what a mistake it was to be with Rin. I needed to lose Emmett to realize that I deserve happiness. I want to tell him all this but is there a point? And how would I even tell him? I really need help on what to do.

I've taken his advice and I'm now focusing on myself, because I love myself and I don't need anyone else to make me happy.
