Do you think it's fair men have a vote in what a woman can and can't do with her own body? Women shouldn't be forced into allowing a rapidly growing parasite to stay inside them and feed off their nutrients. Men aren't cursed with the problem of being forced to carry a watermelon inside them for 9 months then push it out of a pen sized hole. It's easy to say you're anti-abortion when you don't have to cary the child inside you and go through sever back pain, feet pain, and joint pain. It's easy to say, "slavery was a choice" when you weren't alive during slavery and you weren't a slave. It's easy to say, "Its you're own fault for getting rapped" when you weren't the victim. Men are not woman and they don't have to go through the laboring, so why do they get a say?

In some cases abortion shouldn't even be considerable opinion. I believe there should be a specific set of laws that enable and disable people to the right of abortion like...
Money/insurance
Rape
Significant other
Specific abortion time frame so you're not ripping off itty-bitty hands
Etc

There should be a time frame of when the baby is just as an egg to when it begins to form limbs. Which would tell when you could and couldn't get one.

While I firmly disagree with it - being forced to marry your rapist is AWFUL - I actually see the reasoning. It's so that the man would provide financially for the woman.

I actually do think rapists should compensate their victims. NOT by living with them - in fact, restraining orders may even need to be put in place. But the rapist should have to pay the rape victim for the following:
- medical and psychiatric exams
- treatment for any physical issues arising from the rape
- therapy for any psychological trauma
- any expenses that may arise from any potential pregnancy (and NO he shouldn't get custody)
- any lost income the victim experiences from struggling or missing work due to pregnancy or physical/psychological issues arising from the rape

There's probably more, but that's what comes to mind.

Of course, the rapist should also serve a sentence in jail to protect the rest of society from getting potentially raped.
