Search Results: the waiting game

We had originally planned a couple of friends going with us, but they all became busy and so it was just me and him. He said that he wants to go, but he had band practice that night and also went to the football game immediately afterward. The game lasted probably 1.5-2 hours. The movie was going to be shown at 10pm, and at this point it's 9:20pm. So I text him and ask if he's still up to going with me. Do keep in mind that I even asked him at school earlier that day if he was going to be too tired to go to the movies anyway and he said "I don't know, maybe not." Back to the story, I waited for a response because if he still wanted to go, I needed to change, touch up my makeup, and have my stepmom drive and pick him up to take us there on time in less than 40 mins. But, he never texted back. I sat on the couch with my phone turned up so the ringer would sound in my ear. I woke up at 11:00pm to see no messages. So I went to bed disappointed and angry.

I'm angry because he didn't have the decency to at least say "No I can't go sorry" so I didn't stay up waiting so long. He had told me all day today "maybe" or "i don't know," despite him saying that he really did want to go. The issue was his schedule tonight, which I did ask if he'd be too tired, like I said. If he knew he was going to be busy or tired, why lead me on like that? Why couldn't he just say from the beginning "Hey, I can't go. I'm way too busy tonight. Maybe another time?" I moved around my schedule and turned the world upside down just to get him to go with me and then he doesn't even have the decency to tell me that he just can't go.

Should he apologize and set up another time today or something to go to the movies since we couldn't last night?

Or should I just calm down because I'm getting angry over nothing?

My boyfriend says no way - they wouldn't kill her off with another season to go because it would remove too much of the drama from the show. I think the show has enough drama and tension to solve before getting to the end to make an exciting 7 episode season yet just with the Night King, trying to convince all the Lord's of Westeros that the threat is real, dealing with the Iron Islands' bullshit, and solidifying Dany's power in the realm.

So here is what I am predicting for this episode and I super hope I am right because I've been waiting for this forever lol

- Cersei has laid a trap of wildfire through out kings landing, intending to take out Dany and Jon as well as the rest of their gang once they are all gathered in one spot.

- Jaime finds out about this and, realizing that this would kill many innocent people and destabilize the realm, chooses to kill Cersei to stop her. This would be a fitting arc for Jaime as it reckons back to his killing the Mad King Aerys to stop him from burning kings landing to the ground. Even more fitting because this decision would ultimately remove the last major obstacle between Aerys' daughter retaking the throne. Everything comes full circle.
