I met a cute girl at a sports event. She likes movies a lot. When we were leaving the event, we walked towards the station for 25 mins. I implicitly asked her out to watch a certain movie. She wasn't clear but it felt like it was a no. A few days after that, I texted her and asked her out for a movie date, she replied a long message of excuses why she can't go (e. g., movie language, she's going to province on the day, etc.). It was a nice friendly polite reply but I considered that as a game over so I never messaged her again and she never did as well.
After a month, I attended the same sports event and she was there again. I still had feelings for her so I decided to distance myself away from her out of self respect for me and so I also wouldn't creep her out. Unintentionally it was different though, it felt like we were closer, we talked a lot about movies we watched, high-fived a lot, etc. She initiated a lot of interaction with me. Then after the event, everyone decided to go out and eat.
There, the girl and I sat on one table but I switched to another table to avoid her. I left early since I had plans but I noticed when I said bye to everyone she wore her bag as if she's leaving. I left and walked to the station alone. As I sat waiting for the train, someone shouted my name and when I looked above the escalator, it was her running towards me. She said it ended soon after I left. We went home together, talking about cats and dogs and movies. It was fun, then before we parted ways she told me we should watch movies together. I agreed. I asked her out through text a few days after. She replied after a day that she can't go on the days I set but can go if its that night.
The date happened, it was really fun. Not awkward at all. I felt like there was connection through our conversations. We agreed to watch another movie.
Now I text her 1 day after the date and no reply. I texted her next about a second date, and no reply.. It's been 4 days since.
