There seems to be a popular tend to hate on / dislike popular things and social conventions/standards.; it's like these people are so fucking try-hard to be 'different' that they end up following the 'popular' trend of hating on mainstream stuff. Pretty much perennial buzzkills / killjoys for liking the small, common, popular things in life.

Such a #Catch22 , isn't it? :-P

Here's some examples of what i'm saying:

1) Person A says "I love Band KLM, they're awesome. I love song QRS and VWX". Person B says "Band KLM are some fucking sellouts, fuck them. QRS is just whatever. VWX probably sounds stupid too".

2) Person A gets a new smartphone and tells Person B about getting it that day. Person B says to Person A, "I don't use smartphones. They're stupid, they make people brain dead. I wish those damn things were never invented."

3) Person A and Person B order food at a mall. Person A ends up getting a large macaroni and cheese and four pieces of fish, when Person A paid for a small mac and cheese and two pieces of fish. Person A excitedly says to Person B, "Hell yeah, I got some free food, dope shit!" Person B says "Whatever. There's no need to get all hyped up over that. What's your deal? Don't act like a retard."

4) Person A and Person B are both camping. Person A says "Whoa did you see that blue jay fly in the trees? They look so badass with those colors!" Person B says "Are you really getting excited over a fucking bird?"

Society today values women mostly on beauty. Just as equally, society tends to value men mostly on their wealth. These are the standards that have been ingrained in our way of thinking. I have noticed that when I am driving a good looking car more women look at me. I am sure that many of you women have noticed that men will look at you more when you look more beautiful.

However, these rules are changing. Now men are beginning to value women more on their money and looks and women are doing the same for men. We have seen more fashion trends for men (the beard). We have also seen more women rising to power and men caring more about a woman's education and salary.

Do you think men will eventually be valued on their beauty rather than their wealth?

Spare me the politically correct bullshit in the comments.

I'm talking about big nose rings or rectum... I mean septum nose rings. I'm personally okay with little diamond studs... but's what the cattle rings lately?

I just have to ask, why are girls jumping all over this trend? Did some famous celebrity start wearing one or something? I just don't get it. I'm trying to be open minded but I'm struggling with this trend. This is a huge turn off for most guys including myself. Maybe some girls want to purposely turn off guys or something.
