there's been a lot of different movements for woman's rights. People of colors rights etc. And it's all amazing. Of course everyone should be equal. So when I speak of old values and old school families. I'm NOT talking about the racist or sexist families.

A lot of people. And honestly... Not all but a lot of woman love to shout sexism or inequality if a man goes to work and wife stays at home with kids. That doesn't equal sexism to me. Im talking about familys where the woman is not forced to be home. But does it by choice.

I see no sexism. No discrimination if a woman wants to stay at home. Raise her kids. Clean her house. Work in the house. Make the dinner and maybe go out and visit friends or arrange play dates for the kids. If that's the woman's choice. That's her choice. Calling it sexist just cause the woman isn't working is just garbage.

Real sexism is the man or woman not being given a choice. The man or woman being treated like they supposed to do this. Im refering to a scenario where the woman does this out of choice.

Do any of you find a problem in this. Or think you can shout oppression despite nobody being forced or oppressed. If you have a different opinion. Explain why and not just shout out pointless insults or random turns third wave feminists use.

Also just incase someone thinks I don't realise... I am well aware in a lot of families both are required to work because they cannot afford for the partner to stay at home. They need the income. This is a made up scenario where money isn't a problem.

The definition of feminism is the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.

It is a person that wants equal rights for their sex. Now where I live I believe I get equal rights as a female and females are only held back because of their lifestyle choices such as kids which we cannot help but carry and their own attitude towards other women.

However, if there was a law stating I couldn't do something because i'm female i would fight it and rightfully so. After all through the years people have fought for their race, religion, sexuality as well as gender. Feminism is the one though where the people that believe in it are made to look irrational and the word, more so on GaG, has become an insult.

If I entered this site saying all men are...*insert negative phrase here*... It would have a bad response but if I asked why all women were... and women said differently they would be a feminist. If a law came out saying men can't do something they would fight against it.

After all this the term is used as an insult for women that don't submit. do you find the phrase is used too loosely?

I don't expect to change views here what I do expect is a guy gal split on the votes and a few insultive posts from guys.
