My best friend who's a little bit younger than me is in her first relationship, 3 months so far. Things have been pretty awful in it. She's got quite a lot of issues and is living alone at 17, I guess you could say she's a little high maintenance. The boy she is with, 21(not a fan of the age gap either, but it's legal where I live), is quite normal and lives a very everything's handed to him life. He comes down from another state to see her and they met online.
As soon as they started dating it was a train wreck, he was continually picking on her about her mental health problems and doing things to purposefully scare her (switching lights on and off in the pitch black house till the point she cried). İmmediately I said 'f*ck him off' and our other friend and I spoke to him about it because she was scared to. At this point she liked him, he liked her, so she wanted to keep trying in hopes maybe he just didn't understand.
Fast forward to now, the bullying stopped but they argue daily and he yells at her almost everyday he is here about something ridiculous (eg. her asking if he left knife marks on the kitchen bench. He lies saying he didn't then later admits he did and she asks why. Then he starts yelling at her) she's tried out acting call everytime it happens to make sure it wasn't her, and he will still yell at her. He can't take jokes but he expects her to take all of his mean bullying. She's on a dating site right now, which he is aware of, and believes that she could for sure find better.
She's unhappy, feels as if she hates him, they have nothing in common, it's a huge train wreck. I've mostly convinced her to separate with him because it's affecting her, he goes back home in two days and she wanted to break up with him now but she's scared so she might do it when he leaves. she's scared she will regret it, be lonely, and he will either be upset or not care at all and keeps second guessing herself. Does anyone have any advice I could pass onto her? Boys and girls!

So, I have a friend (20 F) who is dating the friend (26 M) of my ex (21 M). She has revealed to me that he has told their group of friends that the reason for our break up is because I was going out to clubs every night and that it was affecting his father's health (I was staying with his parents at the time time, while he was at university). That is obviously not the truth, and she said that he is saying this to gain sympathy from his friends (who were on my side after the break up). Truthfully, he cheated on me while we were long-distance and I found out from another friend. He never owned up to it and still continues to deny it, even though he began dating a new girl right after dumping me. Now, I have not talked to him since our break up a year ago but hearing that he is spreading this lie to cover up for his cheating really irritates me because he is making it look like I am the one at fault. If you were in this situation what would you do? Would you confront him about lying about you or would you just let it go?

She copies EVERYTHING i do, yet she says she hates me and that im a bitch (I've done nothing to her to be a 'bitch') & demands my parents to "punish me & give her MY money" cos she has none (wastes it all), but i work HARD for my money & i have a job. But luckily my parents don't give her any of my money, instead she takes money off my parents.

The more time i spend around my sister, the more my mental health gets worse.
I get so angry and she makes me look bad infront of my parents.
She's a massive hypocrit, constantly criticizes me, calls me names and swears at me.
(by the way, she's only 15 years old).
She constantly calls me a loser & a loner who has no friends. She's so rude and winds me up to the point where i get so angry that i end up throwing tantrums like a 5 year old (which ends up making my parents take sides with her).

I bought my sister some clothes a few days ago, cos she's broke and has no money (completely her own fault! She wastes her money, but she said she "desperately needs some") and afterwards she treats me like shit.
She tries to make me look mentally ill infront of our parents and i always end up looking like the bad person!!

I just realized he has a mob mentality and that's creeping me out to honest. However, his last statement is making me reconsider the relationship. He believes a child murderer deserves death penalty.

The topic about young murderers under age 13 came out. Meanwhile I think a child that young needs to be placed in a mental health institution for a very long time, he stated that if it was up to him, he would have hanged that child to death with his hands. His excuse was an ''Who cares if it's a child, I would be doing the world a favor by getting rid of a psychopath, they are evil beings in the body of a child''.

He said Mary Bell, James Bulger killers and other young killers in the past needed to be hanged long ago and really meant that statement. Needless to say, I'm disturbed at this moment. Wouldn't that be worst for you to do as an adult? To me, that's still killing an 10-11 year-old kid. I wouldn't have the guts nor heart to do that.
