My friend (Olivia) was dating a guy (Cris) who lives in another state and him and I became friends since she was my best friend. Time passed by and her and I began to separate, I didn't talk to her boyfriend anymore either. One night I received a message from him asking if we could talk and I said sure so we did. He was asking me for advice because she was pushing him away and so I told him to just be there for her and ask if she was okay and to just be straight forward. They ended up breaking up because things weren't working out in their long distance relationship. My boyfriend broke up with me because he cheated on me and then Cris called me and we talked and he admitted that Olivia also cheated on him, so we were both heartbroken. Cris and I began to talk more then we stopped because I didn't want to have any trouble with Olivia who was still sort of my friend- he said she didn't have to know but I still wasn't up for it. Now, a year later, she is dating someone else and we hardly talk, Cris and I talk once in a while and are planning to meet one day in person for the first time ever We have a great connection, ever since we met it's been as if we knew eachother for the longest time, we laugh, we talk about serious things, we joke around, video chat, now we jusr need to meet. I want to know if it would be a bad idea to have a relationship with him since he did date one of my now "sort-of-friend" ?

Somw information that pertains to the issue:
My boyfriend get a little weird when he's high. He's self conscious about this and knows that he does act a little weird sometimes but I don't care because who doesn't act weird when they're high?
There have been 2 situations where I've unintentionally made him feel uncomfortable and made him feel like he was being made fun of and I realized that what I said was insensitive and I didn't even notice it. I can be a little blunt and not really think about I say sometimes so I apologized.
Last night my boyfriend and I got high again and he was moving around a little too much and ended up knocking my laptop off my bed and breaking it. When I go to pick it up, I tell him somewhere along the lines of, "Can you calm down now?"
He said that he felt like I hurt his feelings in the way I said it because he said that I sounded like I couldn't handle him anymore or something.
When I said it, I meant to it in the way that someone tells someone else to stop what it was they were doing to cause them to break one for their things. I think what he her advice in my voice was the annoyance and panic I my voice because I was silently freaking out and worrying about my laptop. I didn't yell at him and say that it was his fault because accidentshe do happen. I wasn't even angry at him!
I just wanna know whether what I said was insensitive or to whether I was lashing put at him in a way that made fun of him. He says the way I said it made him feel like one of those times that I made him do feel bad about acting a little weird.
