I have been in a relationship with someone for two years: the first year we both lived in the UK, the second year he moved to Australia, where his parents live and where he was supposed to only stay a few months and than come back. We remained together long distance but decided not to be exclusive anymore. He alway told me that he was just having casual hookups, as i did.

He kept telling me he loved me and that he wanted our relationship to continue. He didn't have days of leave, so the year we stayed together long distance i travelled to australia quite a few times and it was very expensive. He always insisted he missed me so much and wanted me to visit. There he introduced me to his family and friends.

I was genuinely, deeply in love with him and he knew. I genuinely thought he was the one. One day, shortly after I had visited him, he stopped replying to my messages. He ghosted me. A couple months later it turned out he was dating someone, someone who I had assumed being a friend and who had been on all of his pictures etc. for at least 8 months. It turned out, he had been dating another person during 8 of the 12 months our relationship continued at a distance. He never told me, he didn't even break up with me, just stopped talking to me. I confronted him about this as i discovered it, his reaction was blocking my number an all my social media because "i was interfering with his relationship".

This caused me a severe depression which lasted more than one year and i had to go to an advisor etc. Is it normal?

Been with my boyfriend almost 6 years. We currently don't live together but I stay there a couple nights a week. We broke up 3 weeks ago due to his lack of effort in the relationship. He doesn't like to go anywhere or do anything like go out for dinner or go for short drives or anything that a couple could do together on the weekends. However I didn't want to give up on him because I love him and understand that most days he's tired from work and was hoping he would start to make more of an effort. So we recently just agreed that we would give it another go, so the next day we agreed that I would stay over. So I message him and he says come over to stay the night but when I got there he was asleep on the couch. I wake him up and ask him if he still wants me to stay and he says yes, so I ask well is the bed clean and made and are you coming to bed? and he just gets angry with me and doesn't want to move. He said that his room and bed need to be cleaned first and he can't be bothered doing it. So I offered to clean his room because this is the second night that he has done this. Anyway so I clean the room and bed and he still doesn't want to come to bed. I asked him why did he even bother inviting me over if he was just gunna be rude and inconsiderate like this and he didn't even give an answer he just grunted and moaned like a child. Why would he do this knowing we have just gotten back together and him being like this would make things worse not better? Surely when you're trying to work things out with someone you claim to care about you'd be more accomodating when they came over right? Am I overreacting?
