I had a girl “stage” a phone call to ditch me on a first date two nights ago. We met on bumble and she was very enthusiastic at first. But within 30 seconds of seeing me in person she ran off to “use the bathroom”. And she then staged a phone call from “her dad” saying he had a “flat tire”. From her body language I knew she was lying but a part of me really hoped she wasn’t. She insisted on giving me money for her appetizer I ordered. I then noticed 20 mins later she unmatched me on bumble. My suspicion was confirmed. I then sent her a nasty text message calling her out. I just hate being lied too. I don’t know if she got it or not. She might have blocked my number by then.

I never brought up sex or anything creepy at any point either.

I too was disappointed with her appearance. She was at least 20lbs heavier than what she looked like in her pics. I too lost physical interest in her. But unlike her lying cunt ass I have the respect just give someone the time of day if they drove out somewhere to meet me. I've been in that situation before and I feel like the decent thing to do is just talk to the person. We were in a public place after all.

Girls. Unless a guy is being directly creepy or rude, don’t do this to people. Yeah it’s uncomfortable but you can leave after the date. You are in public and you are safe.

I’ve seen so many people in my life, both men and women that do shit and post shit on their social media and out in public that is clearly a call to attention and to seek validation from either the opposite sex or same sex (whichever one they prefer)

Yet many of these individuals also deny that is their intentions of doing so when confronted about it from other people.

Do you agree that it’s part of who we are that we like the attention and to know that we are desired by others? I would be a hypocrite and liar if I sat here and said I have never done such things... so why do other people deny they do it?
