HYPOTHETICAL!!!

You are a single parent. You have two children ages 7 and 2.

All 3 of you have a very rare immune disorder that if it acts up it is 100% fatal and 100% contagious to anyone else with the disorder.

Your 7 year old's disorder acts up and is dying. You cannot be around them because if you are you will have a 100% chance of dying.

You are presented with a choice: Go to your dying child and comfort them in the hour of their death or never be able to touch them, watch them die from the other side of the glass wall, and stay with your 2 year old.

I'm pretty scared when I'm home alone.

#1 The basement is scary because the boiler room is there and that contraption makes lots of strange noises :( I typically run up the stairs from the basement and then always look back because... I don't know. There might be something there :x

#2 The dining room is scary because one side is purely windows. Anyone can look in and see everything, but it's super hard to see what's outside when it's night time. It's black right now.

#3 The sitting room. There's a huge mirror, my piano, and the fireplace. When it gets super windy, you can hear the sounds through the fireplace and it's pretty eerie.

#4 My dad's room. He's a 65 year old man who somehow thought it was appropriate to stick a humongous James Bond (Sean Connery) poster on the wall. The first time I was passing by his room and saw it, I screamed. All I saw was what looked like a man holding a gun. My dad thought that was hilarious. It was not.

#5 The guest room. There is a strange teddy bear on the bed. Enough said.

#6 My mom's bedroom. She has a rocking chair in there. Enough said.

#7 The bathroom. Huge mirror. I wear contacts/glasses so when I get out of the shower, I can't really see that well and so the darker towels sometimes look like cloaked figures :x Many a time, my heart has almost popped out of my chest due to that illusion. Also... if anyone has read The Shining... you know what worries me about bathrooms :x

#8 My room. The closet never seems to close all the way...

I'm only truly scared when I'm home alone. I like reading/watching scary things, but I really get into it too much and start applying it to my own life. Typically after watching something scary, I can only sleep in 15-30 minute increments for about 3-4 hours each night. With the lights completely on. Sigh. I really should just... avoid such things.

MAIN POINT: How scared are you of your own home? What's scary about it to you?

Ok so ever since I can remember I've found white men hot. I don't know why but I'm just drawn to them. I like all races by the way if a guy is hot he's hot but I don't know I just really am into white guys. Hot ones. However what I've noticed is that they like either slim, darker I guess more 'ethnic' looking girls. I'm medium complexion just like a normal brown bordering on 'fair' and I'm curvy (I have weight to lose - gonna hit the gym just now actually) but I have an hour glass shape and I know that I'll never be skinny like a model so does that mean white guys wouldn't look at me if I weren't skinny skinny? I think I'm pretty and I've seen a few give me the look but never approach:( do white men only like skinny black girls? Do I need to manage expectations and know my dating pool is small till I shed some more weight. I'm not obese or anything but just not thin. I mean of course the white man is not the ideal but I would just like to be able to feel like I can get any guy I fancy regardless of race and right now I'm all for vanilla.

Ok so I want to know what it takes to be attractive to guys. I'm fairly overweight (although the shape of my body and proportions help me look more evened out than 'round') people always day 'you're not fat or you're not that big' but I feel horrible and yes I'm gyming and eating right to lose the weight. I know men are mainly into looks, like that's what attracts them but I'm not ugly in fact I think I'm pretty like really pretty. I have a good hour glass shape, I'm smart and a really nice person. Of course I have many other shortcomings but I would consider myself a catch but I know my weight kinda puts me in the 'no go zone' and I mean weight loss is a journey and it's true that I like tall well built guys with muscle but does it mean I'll never get my 'ideal' man in terms of aesthetics? I need to wait till I'm thin to even have a shot at being with an attractive guy? It's just so disheartening to see girls bigger than me walking around with guys that are attractive and I'm like why can't that be me or girls who I don't think are that pretty (beauty is subjective I know) get more attention cause of their slim bodies? It just slays the self esteem you know? So I want to know how I can be more attractive? Is it really confidence? I dress well, wear make up and take good care of myself.
