My LDR GF dumped me after she felt that she had lost feelings.

(In my opinion we'd just gotten to the end of 'the honeymoon period' and she wasn't familiar with that next stage of love.)

In the end she has clearly realized that she does still love me, the spark and excitement has gone a little, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love me.

She dumped me quite heartlessly, and I have no idea how she felt after she had some time to think about it. I think at first she was quite content with being single again; but it eventually dawned on her that she missed me, my care for her and me being there for her.

At first I was heartbroken and very depressed (as you would be). After a while I realized, although I missed her, it was her that was at the loss.

My question is should I take her back after this mistake that she has seemed to make in ending the relationship?

Should I forgive her? Do you think it might happen again?

Would you rather have a great, passionate relationship with someone which shortly ends up in your heart being broken,

or

Have a longer lasting, but less exciting relationship where your heart doesn't get broken, but you never get feelings of euphoria.

I've had this friend who i used to think as someone whos had my back, i can trust and rely on, and im comfortable with her. One thing to note, we've both made it clear that our feelings are platonic. I think it started when i realized she doesn't appreciate me as much as I do with her. Its like she put me on low priority. I would hold her books, share food all the time, compliments her outfits, hold doors, share an umbrella, hell I've even tucked her in to sleep when she was too tired to get up. Please note, this isn't special treatment, i treat all of my friends like this regardless of gender. These small acts of kindness from my part are seemingly completely thrown aside when i respond to a text with "k". She'd then get really angry at me for no good reason. She'd then proceed to call me mean, rude, always comparing me to other people, etc. We had our first big fight a month ago. We were talking and she said "Can i say something that might hurt?". I said "im heartless". So the she said "I'd choose Jackson over you". Now, backstory on Jackson. He's a huge jerk when it comes to relationships and he dated my friend and dumped her, got back with her, and treated her like shit. He's immature and shouldn't be allowed to date. So naturally i was pissed off, so i ignored her for a few days and she in turn got mad at me, her excuse was "that was a joke. you're now on the list of people i fucking hate when i see them". Long story short i sucked up and apologized for the sake of our friendship. Fast forward to a month later i ended a convo with "k" and she gets mad, i apologize, she says "whatever". I said "if i replied like that, youd be mad as hell at me. She then said "now you're trying to make yourself look like the victim". I was done with her by then. I replied "Think back to our fight u fucking hyprocrit. Im done. Then she blocked me from all social media.
Im planning on just ending our friendship. Im at the breaking point. I can't do this anymore. Any help is great

Unfortunately she broke up with me recently and gave me the reason that she wants to see other. She only liked the idea of being a relationship.

We were friends in HS, then started hanging out more this year and lastly dated exclusively for 3 months (lost my v-card to her 1 month into the relationship... at the rip old age of 23).

Trying to move on since she won't come back. I have no interest in random sex. I just want a lasting relationship, not some girl I won't see again and ending up feeling empty and alone like now.
