My best friend has been in love with me for 8 years. I've known for 3 years but am not attracted to him that way [you know the drill - to make it short, I am what they nowadays label as 'a friendzoning evil bitch'] and told him so very clearly, as to not create further expectations. 2 years ago I got into a relationship, I still am very in love, he still won't meet the guy out of spite. When loneliness got to him he got a girlfriend and he expects me to meet her. She knows the truth about his feelings for me (I am not sure she knows they're still there, but I know and that's strange enough) and has already tried to manipulate him by saying all kinds of crap about me even though we haven't met. Ironically enough that's what he did about my boyfriend too. When she came to visit him the last time (she lives in another city) they invited me over one night, but I had a lot of work to do and couldn't go. She got upset and my friend acted awkwardly which made her conclude I was avoiding her. She wouldn't let it go for days afterwards and fought with my friend over this until I made contact with her, so this nonsense would finally stop. I kindly explained, introduced myself and eversince, she's been writing to me daily, she reacted dubiously friendly. He talks about me often when they're together and she said she was very 'curious'. I should probably mention she'll be moving in with my friend, who's in love with me, but who feels guilty about being with her under these circumstances, so he tries to help out (she wanted to move out of her town and kinda needs financial support). My expectations are that he will probably never really love her but he will manage to distance himself from me, which may be for the best. At least we won't see each other almost daily like we do now. However, I am clueless as to how to act when she's there, I'll meet her soon. I am aware that she sees me as a threat, but still I wonder if it's possible for things to ever be genuinely friendly.

The other day, my crush messaged me and told me that my friends posting stuff on Instagram that are about him and messaging him and stuff is really frustrating for him and that they need to stop. He also said that it was also my fault because I'm the one who "likes and loves" him as I'm not stopping what they're doing... so I assumed he was really angry at me and he also told me that I need to tell myself and my friends that nothing's ever gonna happen between us. This really upset me! 2 days later we saw each other and he wasn't mad. He was just doing his usual thing (staring at me and saying hi to me at least once). On that same day, one of his good friends (a girl) told me that he loved me... but she was probably
just teasing. Later that day, I messaged him and asked him why he was talking to me if he was mad at me and he told me that he doesn't hate me, he wants to be friends and that he just wants all the drama to stop. The next time we saw each other which was 2 days after he sent that message, he was staring at me a lot when I walked into the room. He didn't say anything, but as soon as I walked in, his eyes were on me for what seemed like a very long time. Not only does he stare, but his brother does too. If he doesn't like me, why would he stare? He's really nice to
me as well :) Could he just be hiding his feelings?

There is this guy I really like, we'll call him Zac and there is his mate that I used to like, we'll call him Max. When I liked Max, Zac used to tease me a bit. Now I'm over Max and I really like Zac! My close friends had been putting pictures up on Instagram about me liking him and directing it to him, texting him and saying hi to him heaps... and this made him annoyed. He told me that we need to stop and also blamed me cause I'm the one who "likes and loves" him and it seemed like he was angry at me, but then the next time we saw each other which was 2 days after, he said hi to me and also offered my friend and I food like nothing had ever happened so he obviously wasn't mad (anymore?). I thought he was angry, so I messaged him and asked him why he spoke to me if he was annoyed and he said that he doesn't hate me, he wants to be friends and that he just wants all the drama to stop. On that same day, this girl that he's good friends with who knows I like him was speaking to me and she told me that he loves me... but if she knows that it annoys him, why would she still be saying that stuff? Is it just cause she knows I like him? Yesterday I saw Zac and as soon as I walked into the room, he was staring at me. It felt like he was looking for a while, and it's not just him that stares at me, but his brother does too. Why would they both stare so much if he doesn't have feelings for me? He's also really kind to me :) Do you reckon he likes me but is hiding it? What should I do?
