Search Results: answering questions on the site

I ask this question every few years on different sites, and the answers are pretty interesting to see. Do you think the U. S. will eventually collapse? Do you think it will be in decades to come? And in what form of collapse do you think it will happen in? Economically, in government, culturally, through some kind of civil revolt, or attack or war with a foreign nation?

For context, and the avoidance of doubt, I have never asked a girlfriend what her body count is. I've always focused on her personality, values etc.

Until I began to notice that this is a big deal to a lot of people on here, it wasn't really something I'd actively thought about.

A question from earlier this week, and some of the answers, got me thinking, though.

Some people believe that a partner has no right to know or question a person's past. Others believe that this is of critical importance, and determines everything that follows.

I mentioned body count as an example, because it comes up on this site a lot, but you can apply the same logic to drug use, prison time - lots of things.

Where do you stand on this debate? Do you owe your partner honesty or not, if they ask you? Do they even have the right to ask?

I mean since the first time I joined this site back in 2010 this was one of the featured I enjoyed the most. I used to love featuring question that I was so desperately seeking the answers for, but unfortunately now this featured was removed and I wonder why.
