Don't Troll
Yes, no trolling. GAG is a place where you can ask questions and give opinions. No one said that GAG is a place to troll. Go to 9GAG, not GAG. Maybe these two sites confused the trolls. Anyways, do it somewhere else. Some GAG users are in need of 'serious' answers and opinions. So why not help them out or something? Isn't it better that way? Seriously, it's better than trolling. So please, stop the unnecessary trolling or if you cannot do that, do it somewhere else. GAG is not the right place for trolls.
Respect each other's opinions.
It is undeniable that everyone's opinions are often different and in disagreement. You just feel that sudden rage when someone is against your opinions, which often lead to fights and arguments. Instead of fighting, why not just respect it? Agreeing and disagreeing is a whole different thing though, but it's better than fighting just because of an 'opinion'. Furthermore, there is no rule that states that everyone must agree or disagree with something, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, because there are factors and reasons that led to why they think that way and such. We are just like a story that have two sides.
Don't forget that you're dealing with humans.
It's easy to be less mindful of the feelings of others on the internet, because it's the internet and to you, everyone is just another stranger. It's easy to do, because you don't have to deal with the consequences of your actions.
But why would you choose to hurt, instead of doing the opposite? Everyone go through different kind of lives, some would lead a happy life and some don't, but we all are still humans. Why don't we just spread kindness and positiveness, instead of putting people down and making them feel worse and terrible about themselves?
This does not mean that we have to conceal the truth and tell lies just to make people feel better. If you think it would help to improve them, do tell the truth, but in the kindest way possible. There is no need to hurt anyone. Tell them the reason why you're telling it to them, tell it in a way that it will not cause them to perceive it negatively and become even worse. There is no need to be really honest and upfront when it is about something unnecessary, it will just hurt everyone. Think about it. Let's change in a positive way for the better.
Let us all make GAG an awesome place where everyone can be comfortable and helpful with each other.
