I recently started a new job in an industry I’ve never worked in. I have a guy mentoring me, who has been for the last 4 weeks. I will list everything significant down

- When we had to evacuate for a fire drill, it was raining and he gave me his lab coat to keep me dry

- He said he remembered me from my interview but he only saw me for a few minutes

I told him I did eyelash extensions but none of my friends would let me practice on them. He said “you can do mine if you want”

When he walks past me in the cafeteria he puts his head down and hurries past. The other day, he glanced at me and I smiled but he looked away and walked off.

He looks into my eyes for a few seconds when we talk. I noticed on rare occasions his pupils dilate.

- He has given me a lot of support and compliments about how well I’m picking it up

- He said he thought I was younger than 28

- He has been the only person in our department inviting me to sit with everyone at break time.

- When planning the Christmas do, the manager asked who was bringing their partner and I said I’m single. The guy in question seemed a little more hyperactive and talkative towards me.

Another guy keeps being odd. Today, he asked me if I had invited my crush to go on a walk. The other guy also spoke about me coming to a party and my crush was like “yeah that would be good”

He laughs at most things I say

So there are a few signs that he likes me but I’ve noticed that in the canteen area, when he walks past he will put his head down and hurry past. The other day, he looked at me and I smiled and he practically ran away! Also I text him with a video of some cool stuff and he gave me the bluntest reply. He hasn’t text me since LOL

I work with this guy, and we are both in our 20s. He has a girlfriend who lives far, but he never speaks of her. When I ask him of his plans later in life and they don’t include her or anything so I’m unsure their happiness scale. Let me make it clear, I would only date him if he were to break up with his girlfriend! But anyways, we harmlessly flirt and work every day, but he just found out I liked him and he has been extra flirty lately since then. He called me pretty today, and was flirty. I am not sure if he is flirting with me like this because he is interested or just because he is flattered with all the attention from me. He has a lot of girl friends at work, who are genuinely friends, but I haven’t heard him compliment them like that or be upfront and flirty like with me, maybe compliments on a haircut, but nothing like this. He just seems to flirt a lot with me, and I don’t want to get the wrong thoughts about this. Also he was talking with another coworker when I was in the other room, and he was talking about how he gets me for secret Santa this year, not sure what that means. Let me know what you guys think!
