This shy guy knows I like him and still likes to hug me ever since the first time we met. We were at a bonfire and he kept bragging about how great he was at catching food with his mouth (lol) so he kept trying and trying as his friend kept throwing them to him but he kept missing and blamed it was just a bad bag of marshmallows until he finally caught one and then looked right at me to see if I saw it. He kept being really goofy and silly the whole night and trying to make me laugh (maybe not just me laugh but he just kept looking at me) he after we ran inside to play video games but instead of sitting with his friends on the couch so he could see the TV better instead he decided to sit all the way behind the couch just so he could sit next to me. ( maybe that's nothing but he is shy so I didn't expect that) then he kept looking at me and trying to include me on conversation with his friends and when I said I had to leave & he saw I was hugging everyone good bye he kept standing by me ( ever since we met we always hug each other good bye) it felt like he was almost just waiting for me to finally hug him and when I finally did he seemed nervous , held me tightier than I was holding him and I felt his heart racing & he said he was glad I came cuz he had a lot of fun. I don't if I can take any of this as anything. Shy guys Please help. Any advice?

Honestly, I used to absolutely love this guy. I mean, I really did genuinely love him. It took me about 2 years to fully get over him.

Tonight i was out locally and it happened that he was out too. He spotted me, got my attention, said hi and gave me a hug. It was just a friendly hug really.

Then as I left the bar, I had felt a little uncomfortable because some guy was trying to hit on me, so I left abruptly. I had no idea my ex was watching me at the time, but he actually followed me out of the bar, tapped my shoulder and asked me if I was ok. Not just once, but like 5 times.

i told him I was fine and asked if I'd looked worried and he was like 'no, but you just kinda raced out'. After I assured him I was ok and he had asked me too many times to make sure, I left the bar.

I just felt so touched that he'd been looking out for me and clearly had his eye on me in the bar.

Does that mean anything at all? I did once really love this guy. And it was hard seeing him tonight, I was almost cold and standoffish with him.

Be honest? What does it mean really if anything?

I like this guy who is a Sophomore in the grade above me. This is a great guy, he's won some big awards before for being such a good person. I know his whole family (sister, parents, aunt, cousins, etc.) and they all love me, I actually work at the same place as some them. We only briefly met 3 times before this school year at some summer parties thrown by a friend of ours. When school started, we didn't speak, but then one day he approached me and had a nice long conversation with me. Now we always smile and wave at each other in the halls, I walked him to his next class the other day, and basically catch up to him anytime I can in the hall just to have a quick 30 second conversation with him. We've been casually speaking daily. Last week, I had to go to calling hours/a wake for his Grandma who just passed away unexpectedly, and he gave me a huge smile when he saw me and we hugged for a long time. So he is going through a hard time at the moment. Today, I was at my locker and I saw him coming down the hall and just continued getting my things for next class. Suddenly, he gets pushed into me by one of his friends and he's smiling/laughing and says "Sorry" and keeps walking (I said sorry too I don't know why lol). But this confused me, as usually when kids get shoved into each other, it means one likes the other. But it could also not mean anything, maybe his friend was just being mean and pushing him around and it was a coincidence that he happened to get shoved into me. I just don't know, I think it may have meant something more, and if so, is it because he likes me or because I like him? Both? I just know that the guy I like 100% is not a jerk so even if he did know I liked him, he wouldn't tell all his friends and be mean about it. So the only way his friends would've found out I like him is if someone else told them, and I've only told a few close friends and half of them don't even go to the High School. So does he like me too? And what did the pushing thing mean?
