I feel like dating and relationships are all online now. There’s all these dating apps people mainly use for sex, and when they are used for relationships they’re just always hiding behind a screen “talking” until one of them gets attached and says “what are we?” Like what happened to the classy guys who ask the girl out on a nice date and get to know each other face to face. It’s so sad I feel like this whole generation is dead when it comes to love. But maybe I’m just being a hopeless romantic? What do you guys think?

My older sister is now 25, already finished her Master's in psychology and in a 1 year-old relationship. However, if there is anyone she has to be giving thank you to is me.

Brief flashback to 2012 (I was then 15):
She wanted to get married to her HS sweetheart and have kids. My parents obviously weren't happy about the news at all. In my mind I was thinking ''Are you stupid, what if it doesn't work out, get an education first''.

To make the story short, with the help of a couple of my 2 close friends and someone else, managed to successfully break up her engagement. She still believes to this day that he cheated on her. I couldn't bare seeing her stunting her education and relying her life on romance and prince charming. I always think of plan B if things don't work out. She doesn't know this however and never going to tell her.

Now, I don't oppose that anymore. She's free to settle down one day and form a family but when she was 19 and nearly wanted to quit college, obviously that was not the right moment at all.
