We're both 18.

Recently confessed to my closest female friend that i like her. she's made it clear that she's not rejecting me, but doesn't want anything now because of her VERY recent break up. a couple times she's said to me "You said you vibed with (my previous ex) better" and i honestly dont recall ever saying that. then i thought about it and thought... maybe i did mention that. i was obsessed with my last ex and she was the first girl i said i love you to, but after the infatuation and break up ended i realized my ex wasn't all that great (and yes i did tell my best friend this later)

Anyway my best friend has brought it up a couple more times, like when i was talking to her about the idea of dating and i said to her "We vibe very well and we're very close". i was confused at her bringing it up a couple times more in similar related convos (it meaning me saying i got along with my ex better).

i finally asked her about it in person (previous times were over text) "Hey, why do you compare yourself to my ex alot?" and she stood there silent for a good 3 whole seconds and just said "i dont know, you just said to me one time you vibe with her better" and as i mentioned before i did explain to her how i realized my ex wasn't all that great

I am an Asian American (Korean descent) and I have a confession to make. I only like white women. As in women of European heritage. I could not fight it all these years, my infatuation with Caucasian women began when I was 11 and I was attracted to them.

I tried to diversify my interests and look at non-white women like Tyra Banks or Audrey Quock. But I labored in vain. I tried to lie to myself that all women are attractive. But I cannot hide it anymore. I only like white women and no women of other races, even my own. The truth has been revealed.

The thing is, most Korean American men prefer Asian women and I don't. I could never relate to most Asian women, since I'm an aspiring cyber security engineer and most of them are into things like pre-med. And I really don't like it when Asian women act all cutesy and flash the v-sign and things like that. Another thing is that most Asian women tend to be short around 5'2" and that's too tiny for me, since I am 6'2" (yes, that's rare for Korean descendants).

The reason why I prefer white women is not only because of how they look, but because of how they sound. They have such beautiful voices, whether they're white American, German, English, Italian, etc. I cannot expect the same vocal beauty from others (Asians, African Americans, Hispanics, etc.)

And on top of it all, I love European culture. If I could pick any language I want to speak, I choose German, since I loved Germany since high school and attempted the language in college. I have a poster of something written in German. Not to mention that I love eating at German restaurants and think the food is great. People tell me to embrace my Korean heritage, but I don't, since I don't really feel connection to it.

What do you think, guys and girls? Is it normal for a Korean American man to only like white women, even more than his own race?

Well. I was best friends with this guy for a very long time. He has a little sister. He told me that his sister liked me and - he said - wanted to have sex with me. I told him that I didn't believe him but he persisted. Then I saw his sister and I said to her flat out "hey do you like me?"
She replied, "oh as a friend I do yeah". Then she asked "why do you like me, as a friend yeah?" And I said "nah more" (I was having a bit of infatuation with her at the time). She giggled and looked at her friend and they both giggled and went red in the face. Then looked back at me. I asked her "what's up?" She said oh nothing and kept giggling.
Then I saw her alone on a bench. I sat next to her and I moved up to her and started touching her leg, just to see her reaction. She didn't resist or move away. She stared right ahead with a stunned kind of look and then she whispered my name to me. I stopped the leg thing a while after and we became close but I didn't know if she liked me or not as we drifted apart. Hence why I am asking you GAGers
