I decided to ask this question since there's a recent "cultural appropriation" controversy over some White-American high school teen girl wearing a Chinese prom dress which pissed off a lot of people on social media.

Not only do I think this is stupid (as a Non-White person) but these SJWs don't even realize that these Whites are probably appreciating these Non-White cultures, cuisines, arts, and fashion, not stealing them and claiming them to be their own!

I guess these SJWs don't want White people to appreciate Non-White (the very group that they've been passionately preaching to protect from racism) people and their cultures and contributions to the world.

I met this girl last year but we didn't actually become good friends until around Christmas time this year. Im a senior and she is a sophmore.

I have one class with her, an art type class, and we always talk and joke around with each other. Half the time were arguing about the dumbest things, like whos project is better or something, but it always happens in a nice and fun sort of way.

We have fun making fun of each other all the time (in a joking, flirty way) but i think were both secretly afraid to say were attracted to each other

She always looks me in the eye when talking and she laughs at a lot of the dumb jokes i make. When i see het in the hallways she will either say hi or look quickly towards me once or twice.

She has already said se would go to prom with any of us (meaning me & the other two guys at my table) but she was looking straight at me when she said it and she talks to me the most out of the three.

We tease each other a lot about random stuff when in a group of people, but we talk alone sometimes in the halls. My friends have made jokes about her liking me before and she will go red and change the subject or avoid the question.

On my birthday a couple months she was literatlly the first person to text me

Someone in class called a friend of hers her boyfriend the other day and she made it very clear that he is not her boyfriend and has a girlfriend already.

We snap each other everyday but we dont always have conversations outside of school. Maybe like once a week we will start talking for a while about somehing random or whatever.

So i think she likes me a lot and im starting to realize that i like her too, so just to be absolutly sure, does it sound like she really is interested and how should i proceed?

I enrolled on a level 3 IT course at the only college on my home island. As the first year comes to and end, I'm finding it a struggle to keep up and have come to doubt this career path is for me. I failed my exam, scoring 16/80 marks (33 was needed to pass) I have one chance to retake in May. We also start the synoptic THIS WEEK which counts for 60% of my passing grade. I have no confidence in my abilities; I'll still try, but i'm certain i'll fail both this and the retake.

Unlike others in my class, I don't have a background in IT and coding. I'd previously studied graphic design and applied art in high school and got C grade in both. I also got a pass grade in level 2 fine art at the same college. While considering potential careers, it seemed impossible for a few reasons:

Graphic design is one of the most popular qualifications. There aren't enough jobs for the countless graphic design students who leave college/uni. If i'm serious about this, I'd NEED to stand out among the rest which leads to my other problem; my lack of confidence.

I have no self-confidence/esteem and social anxiety. I've had therapy and am making changes for the better. But I have no motivation because I feel I and what I make are never good enough. Also, i'd likely have to leave my island home and live on my own, which in my current state is an impossibility.

One upside is that i've joined the college gym in hopes of becoming physically fit and thus slightly more confident in myself (it's a start right?). I've made some progress and it's the only thing i'm both motivated and happy to do.

Should I fail, my plan is to get a temp job. This will raise money for gym fees and i'll have money to go out and socialize; pushing me out of my comfort zone in hopes of conquering my social anxiety. Once I'm in a better mind set, healthier and know what I want to do in life, i'll go from there. I did IT because I thought it might lead to a career relating to something i'd enjoy. But now i'm unsure.
