I'm dating a girl (I've been in love with her for a while) and we've only been technically dating for a few weeks. Been on like four dates but we've known each other for a year now. So I didn't want to do too much for Valentine's Day since we're a relatively new couple.

So I went to local flower shop and spent a while customizing a small flower arrangement with the owner (I'm not exactly great with flowers haha). Nothing huge. And then I went online and found someone on Etsy who can make stuffed bears with anyone's name on it. (shoutout to SouthernMissBows there. Check her out! Her work is amazing!) So I got a small ~5 inch white stuffed bear with her name on it.

Now I wasn't sure if that was good. I thought it was and frankly, I didn't nor could I afford like anything too extravagant. This is my and her first Valentine's Day period and I was afraid of doing the cliche "flowers and chocolate" thing. I like making things special and unique. For instance, for Christmas, I got her an autograph of her favorite author. And for her birthday I drew her something (I'm an artist). I didn't know if this was too generic so I got the name on the bear. I thought that was good but I wanted to get a standard of gifts for the holiday to make sure. I also didn't want to go too big and overwhelm her because it is our first Valentine's Day as I said, and she is super shy.

So what are your thoughts anybody?

Been dating this girl for 4 months and I haven't seen her in quite some time (parents are strict) so i decided to mail her something for Vday.

I bought her chocolate covered oreos (so good omg) and mailed it to her (by amazon). Amazon said it would deliver by Friday the 13th (one day early isint a big deal) but I just got an email the confirmed estimated delivery date is the 10th..

long story short, she's gonna get a vday gift 4 days early. would this bother you girls? be honest. by the way, she doesn't know im buying her anything for vday

Every since I started college, I have been buying flowers on valentine days, I have been gifting my friends and some aquitances a rose. I got the idea one day from a friend, who never got a flower in her life. I love how beautiful everyone is, no different from the morning sunrise when they smile. I was wondering if people knew the meanings behind different colors roses. Side question which color rose do you prefer, and why?
