My guy is not emotional at all -- he is very cool, collected, and emotional stuff tends to make him uncomfortable but I am like the opposite. I am like a warm and "super emotional pippy" (his words not mine -_- lol). But he seems to love that about me. And my exes were the same way -- I seem to attract very alpha men that aren't emotional. Is this a common thing? Do people try to find others that complement them emotionally?

There's a dude that I have an interest in, and we have only talked once or twice. However something I have noticed about him before we even talked is that we are polar opposites in terms of personality.

You see I'm really weird and fun. I don't mind embarrassing myself with my bring weird, because I am who I am. I like to do random stuff that tends to make people laugh. He on the other hand is complelty different. He's the more serious type, he doesn't really play or joke around to often. He's more of a introvert, I'm more of a extrovert I guess. I also have never seen him smile too often. Most of the time you can see him frowning.

However on the few occasions I've seen him smile and laugh, it is the most beautiful thing because he has such a nice smile. Like you know how people always say "You should smile more", and cliche as it sounds he really should.

I know... I'm smitten.

I wanted to try to get to know him better, but my friends tell me I should just avoid it because our personalities probably won't work well together. I dont know, my weirdness my overwhelm him, or maybe it could make him loosen up a bit. Who knows.
