I'm curious on what you thinks about people with inherited medical conditions that makes biologically children instead of adopting if they wants children. Some deformity, handicaps, mental illness and other conditions is something you can pass on your children. I've seen some documentaries like "Extra ordinary people" where one of the parents had a medical condition, but made many children despite that and almost all of the children got the same condition as their mother.

I wish I wasn't Asian (I'm korean). I'm not trying to be racist against my own race so if any Asian see this please do not feel offended.

I was adopted by white parents when I was a baby because my own biological family abandoned me. I love my family very much. They love and care for me with their whole heart even though I'm not their own child. I have a brother and two sisters and they love me too. Growing up, I was surrounded by white people and they were all really nice to me. I love their cultures, the way they look, and almost everything about them. Everytime I look into the mirror I feel like crying. I hate what I see. I'm really sad because I can never truly feel belong in my family.

I wish I was white. Or any other races. I hate that I'm just an Asian abandoned by his birth parents.

A Sikh couple claim they were advised by an adoption agency not to apply because of their ethnic background. Sandeep and Reena Mander were told by Adopt Berkshire that white British or European applicants would be given preference, as "only white children were in need". "They took the colour of our skin as the overriding reason not to progress with the application", said Mr Mander.

A spokesman for Adopt Berkshire says "we do not comment on ongoing court cases," and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has not responded to a request for comment. While it's now been made illegal for adoption agencies to prioritize on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation and religion, it's still perfectly legal for adoption agencies to prioritize on the basis of race. Do you consider this to be fair?
