My boyfriend lets me sleep over at his place and he’s told me he loves me and has introduced me as his girlfriend to everyone and had introduced me to his friends... he’s ok with me talking to his male friends but gets mad and insists that I don’t talk to his brother at all... not even a hello... he also told me of a time when his brother stole a girl from him but that was a long time ago... his bro is married with kids now... he also told me not to add his sister cuz she’s all drama and takes everything seriously...

is he scared of if his brother causing trouble and possibly cheating on his wife?
Or is my boyfriend not serious about me?

(I have met his family very briefly at a bday party I was invited to by his brother)

I was watching a soap opera from the old days. Things were different back then. An unfaithful husband wasn't treated the same as a cheating wife. Nowadays cheaters of both genders get called out for their actions in my area, equally.

Here is what I saw:
A widow kept bringing flowers on her husband's grave. Prior to his death, he was trying to run off with her friend (whom had a child in her marriage too), abandoning his son and wife. Both of the lovers died in an auto accident. Meanwhile her and people all gather in his grave, bringing flowers and/or roses, the unfaithful wife's reputation gets tainted and she gets bad-mouthing her, not a single flower on hers.

Seriously.. all that anger and resentment towards the woman and not the husband whom made the choice to cheat, got another woman pregnant before and was about to abandon his son and wife!!! At least the unfaithful wife was scorned for trying to abandon her daugher and husband. Why not the man too?

Does an unfaithful husband like that even deserves flowers on his grave?

If you were going out with someone and going out to hotels/restaurants with them and their husband/wife texted you to tell you to get off their social media and you told them you were their girlfriend/boyfriend and they told you they were married with this person and if they asked you for proof and evidence many times, would you tell their spouse that you were going to hotels/restaurants with them and tell their spouse they were cheating or would you say nothing even if they asked for proof/evidence many times?

If your husband, wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend ever accused you of: cheating with their best friend, having feelings for their best friend, or accused you of flirting with their best friend, and it was NOT true. How would you react? How would you feel?
STORY TIME:
Names: accuser=Jeff, partner=Amy, best friend= Eric (and for the purpose of this story, another friend=Erika) (others were there but were not involved)
Everyone is at a house hanging out, drinking, smoking and playing games, just having a great time. When it is Eric’s turn Amy taps him on the knee to get his attention, (because Eric NEVER pays attention and you have to YELL at him when it’s his turn.) Jeff sees this and gets angry but keeps it to himself. A bit later Amy and Erika go against each other on a game. Erika beats Amy at this game. On into the night Amy becomes annoyed with Eric taking forever and several others not paying attention. Erika sends Amy a text saying she is sorry, because Erika thinks Amy is annoyed that she beat her. Amy reads the text, smiles and says Erika I love you, in a friendly, silly kind of way because of why Erika sent the text. Jeff hears this and assumes that Amy said I love you to annoying Eric, which was not true. Again he seems angry but keeps it to himself. After everyone leaves for the night Jeff starts yelling at Amy and accusing her of telling Eric that she loved him and confronted her about her touching his knee. Amy denied saying it but Jeff didn’t believe her and kept yelling. The next morning Jeff is still angry and continues the accusation. To which Amy still denies. Amy screenshots the text from Erika and explains why and to whom she said I love you too. Jeff had no words and leaves. Jeff comes back later and apologizes and tries giving Amy a kiss and she denies him. And now Jeff is upset and sleeping on the couch. (As I last heard) who has the right to be upset? Jeff or Amy? How would you handle it? Don’t be cruel, looking for advice to give.

Lets say she really thought she had her dream come true and was excited about trying to conceive (she wanted kids and he kept postponing it) but finds out he cheated. He cheated several times with his co-worker (she's in her mid 30's), invited her in the house twice while his wife was working, share his wife's homemade desserts with her and used their marital bed those two times.

The wife is obviously hurt and finds it very disgusting to even look at him after learning all that but she's embarrassed of becoming a divorced woman at just 27 years old and still childless; a total failure. She wanted to stay married forever, to repeat the same happy story her parents and grandparents had. She wanted the lifestyle of marrying her first and staying till old age, till death... never being with anyone else. She was a 22 year-old virgin when he met her.

If a husband cheats but acts remorseful... should she still work it out or not? She literally doesn't want to touch nor see him. She finds the details and everything that happened gross.
