Let's say you were asked which sex is similar to the other sex. Would you say women are similar to men implying men are the default sex or would you say that men are similar to women implying that women are the default sex. We all know that XY makes a male, while XX makes a female. However, very recently it was discovered that there are 6,500 genetic differences between males and females.

I personally think that both males and females start off in a gender neutral stage in the womb. Not as female.

Just curious. I'm a very light-skinned Mestizo or probably Castizo Mexican-American (US) and I've been always hearing and been told by a few Mexicans (Mestizos) how Spaniards (in general) don't really like Mestizo people and Indigenous people and prefer to stick to pure White Europeans (Spaniards in particular) or just don't care for them. I ask since I just met a Spanish/Spaniard girl in a college course, who is an exchange student. She's a sweetheart with a heart of gold so far after getting to know her and we just felt a little connection between each other the more we talked in Spanish (despite our dialect differences). I know it's only one very kind Spaniard girl I met but I was wondering about how her family would feel about their daughter getting asked out by a Mestizo Mexican or being in a relationship with one. I have plans on making the first move but I'm not sure how this will all turn out.
