I'm 17, and a senior in high school. He is 19, and taking a break from college.

One day about three weeks ago, I hit up an old guy friend on Instagram to get his Snapchat to start a streak with him. This immediately turned into us texting each other on Snapchat a lot. Every single day since I got his Snap, we've talked from the minute we woke up until late in the night (11pm - 3am).

We've talked about our love lives, insecurities, family life, struggles, etc. Just had really deep conversations. We both don't have very high self-esteems, and I always tell him that he's an attractive, good guy with nothing to worry about. And, he's called me cute af a few times. Really, we both help each other through our problems. He's my closest guy friend.

Last weekend, he invited me to drink with him and play video games at his house, but I was out of town that weekend. And I'm going to be out of town for the next few weekends. I felt bad telling him that, and I think he thought I didn't want to hang out with him. But, that's not the case at all.

Anyway, we message each other all day and night on Snapchat, and I was wondering what your thoughts were.
