Search Results: should i give him a second chance

We all have heard or have had this happen to us. You're dating someone who appears super into you and then out of nowhere ghosts you. They reappear maybe a week, months, and some even years later. But the question is should you even give this person another chance if they didn't have a good enough reason to ghost? Can someone truly be so busy they can't take 5 seconds to text you back?

Okay so the first time we met was when her first came to my school, and we began talking. I broke it off with him two days later bc his comments like "ive been thinking about you all night" and things like that were too much for me, considering we had just met. He has since moved schools. Now, more than a year later, I saw him a basketball game the other day. He messaged me afterwards, saying how he missed seeing me around school, complimenting my "beautiful eyes" and "gorgeous smile" and how he regretted things not working out the first time, so I decided to give him a second chance. But he's still very eager. He texts me, only three days after agreeing to talk, saying how I'm the only girl for him and how he'll do his very best to make me happy. He's so sweet, constantly saying how beautiful I am, not to mention super funny and easy to talk to, but some of his comments make me uncomfortable, considering its been a few days, not a few months! What should do/say to him? Am I overreacting? Help
