I have a friend who knows a guy who went away out of his home state/city on business for a long time, like a whole year, and he couldn't go back home at all-- didn't see his girlfriend for a whole year. During that time, his girlfriend told him that as soon as he got back, she expected a ring; not even wanted, but *expected.* She also expected him to not touch or kiss or get physical with any other female for that whole year, and got angry when he apparently kissed one other girl one time, or something. They ended up breaking up later; I don't think he was feeling it any more because he was sick of being told what to do, and a whole year is not an okay amount of time to be without sex or any physical romance whatsoever.

The point is, his girlfriend at the time was not particularly pretty/attractive. This is something I've noticed with other people I know as well-- the expectations, the self-righteous overblown anger at something that a reasonable person shouldn't get mad over, etc. I've never noticed this from people who are objectively attractive, though to be fair it's possible I simply haven't been paying as much attention, but it seems to me that they're more likely to say like "oh my girlfriend is talking to other dudes at a bar? So what? Let her have fun." I almost never have my less-attractive friends (especially the female ones) say stuff like that.
Is this something anyone else notices? Are less-attractive people more likely to be emotionally insecure? Or does it not matter one way or the other?

A few years ago, a girl at a neighboring store was super into me, and I thought she was really nice. But my store was closed soon later and after a few months, I asked her on Facebook, since I had to work so much if she'd be interested in being friends with benefits for a while. She said yes.
After a few missed opportunities to get together, because I was working two jobs, she said she wanted to be on a proper date first.
We stopped talking for a few weeks and started again, and she kept telling me how after a few times she wanted to try sex with whipped cream and chocolate syrup and asked to meet her one night do we could start.
After talking for a bit, I kissed her to get the ball rolling, and she said she changed her mind and still wanted a date, but kept grabbing me. Then we kissed again, and she said date first.
We've been on and off conversation over the year, and we recently started talking again, because she picked up a second job too.
Since we're both so busy, if I ask again, would it actually become a real friends with benefits?

I started talking with a girl on Facebook that I went to high school with and we developed good chemistry. We soon moved into making a relationship and up until recently we talked about when we'd meet each other's parents and she was interested in having sex soon.
But as we got more serious, she asked for a break because she said she still wasn't over her ex. She went from being super loving and fun to short and rude.
She said she needed to take time to fully get over him and despite how great I was, she couldn't be in a relationship with me until she moved on.

It's been a few days since she talked to me about it, but I said Merry Christmas to her and she sent a message back that felt so robotic.

Would unfriending her on Facebook kill all the chances between me and her?

I'm disappointed in everything that's happened.
