I picked up a 1080Ti for a very good price, but i'm debating whether or not to open it. Laws in my country mean i can return a product within 2 weeks without a reason.

Nvidia's guy really avoided the 1080ti vs 2080 question on a podcast... "I don't have those numbers in front of me" lol. And the specsheet says they'll be about the same sans Raytracing and DLSS.

Any enthusiasts out there with more insight?

I have this tendency, that if a product is advertised (mostly on TV), then it must be shitty because the company puts more budged on it's advertising than it's quality or technology or material or anything, that would make the product an useful and good product. Most of the times I think my tendency is accurate.
Because the real product advertisement in my opinion are it's customers and reviews and of course the quality and properties of said product itself and not the show offs they put in front of our faces.
But hey, that is how advertisers make money and they have to make a living too in our capitalistic world. I am just happy, that I figured out this mentality.
